i really didn't want it to be him, mostly for the children's sake...and hoped beyond hope it was someone else that ended the life of mother, daughter & friend Jennifer, yet I figured he was responsible even though I didn't want it to be ... just really find it so unbelievably sad...those dear children

I also have felt strangulation for a long time.

One of the things I think about a lot is whether or not the woman he had an affair with knows anything and whether or not she's going to testify. I doubt he'd EVER admit to being guilty but my gut tells me that she knows.

I think he was so opposed to divorce because of his reputation, looks like that backfired...

His parents weren't there, not IMO because they did not want to show support for him, but because they didn't raise him to become this type of man.

Can put on a public show (which they have not), but it's all really meaningless: In this case, the most logical explanation is GR didn't want them there; didn't want them to endure what he thought might happen, and what did happen.

GR, Confess and/or plea. Put an end to this.

BBM: I think you have to confess when you plea. Too bad I think he tells the truth almost as much as Jodi- close to never

My eye was caught by the judge referring to the "violent nature" of the case. Is that a reference to COD, or is a standard phrase where someone is charged with murder?

I hear you, Mommy. She was in her late 20's; he's got nearly a decade on her before he struck. Having an affair even with her best friend, isn't against the law. Only despicable. Murdered wife? Greed & narcissism in this case. Didn't want to "share." Wanted a guaranteed "win" in the matrimonial courts. He was not going to get it. He would have had to "share," and then some.

His other problem, IMO, was his affair was not just an ordinary affair, but was with one of Jen's BFs, if not closest GF...major problem if one has narcissistic traits. He may not have taken this route, had it been simply another woman. May have simply tried to decimate and destroy her through the matrimonial court system...through custody issues, financial issues, etc.

So he had credit card debts, etc. in the past? VI Rick Blaine (and others-his friends), never saw violence between them; no overt abuse obvious between them or by him. He gaslighted her, MO.

He was middle America, No? A home, children, friends, college-educated, fairly personable, verbal, a stable income, a pension/401K, a few beers with the college buds, the coach, etc.

He took a detour...Big Time.

Is he possibly a pathological liar like JA? Yeah, probably.

Same thoughts...don't know whether or not judge would have known today, been privy to today, COD due to the Grand Jury indictment.

Amazing how very little I really know of our justice system.

RSBM/BBM: I would suggest someone from NYSP LE examine the unsolved murders in Arizona, and the Bronx...

Love you & respect your opinions, Mommy...don't believe they'll discover anything. But, yeah...by all means they should check it out. He doesn't hate women, MO...only wanted to permanently rid himself of this one: his long-term (by today's standards) wife.

Something must already have been put in place re temporary custody (Maternal Grandparents) since reports had stated that the children would be the focus of a custody battle (when he posted the lower bail)...but he can't really address that until and if he gets out on bail again.

GRs parents could also file for custody of their grandchildren. That may be what the custody battle would pertain to. I certainly hope the kids will be allowed to reside with Jenns parents so they can continue to go to the same school.

If he decides to fight it (If he can meet bail), will use age and if any health issues against them. Huge plus is best interests of children standard>same area/location, schools, retain friendships, least disruption to their lives, etc.

Is his purse bottomless? He's got major problems here re the next 20+ years of his life. Josh P had not been charged with murder...GR has been.

I'm very curious what the current relationship is between him and his parents. I also wonder what the state of their health is, we know his mother has epilepsy. They might not want to or be capable of caring for three young children.

I saw that too. Maybe he just meant murder but it did catch my eye....

Did his bail bond come from his own property or did his parents help?
Do we know? I can't recall.

Good point. Also, Yonkers vs New Berlin: two very different places to grow up in. Big changes. Is that in their best interests? I think not.

I am convinced the motive was wanting full custody and refusal to pay to "let" Jennifer not only get physical custody and the house, but also to make him look to be the "bad guy" in a divorce, which of course he was. All about image, power and also money.

It's possible... But I'm not really so sure it was premeditated...I lean more towards it being more of him losing his temper or something along those lines. Of course I may be totally off since I am still struggling with the fact that he could have done anything at all...guess goes to show we never really know what goes on behind closed doors or only see what others want us to see. Guess we have to wait to see what info LE brings about

Interesting day with GR's attorneys following us up to Center rd while we worked on Jen's memorial - The look on our hillbilly faces when their Mercedes-Benz pulled up -- Priceless!!

Bear and I had the news crews rolling on the floor - Bear and Porter comparing shoes, she almost went home with his sneakers! No joke! I love these ladies and having Jillian' s hand to grab when the judge made his decision meant the world.

We make a good team, if I don't say so myself

Parents in AZ for the season
Main hunting season had JUST ended
Alibi set up
Wanting to "spend the rest of his life" w/ mistress
Issues with and alluding to her online gaming friends with their friends
Shopping story
Hair dye story
Knowing the sauna schedule of his cop "friend"

It seems to me there are quite a few things pointing to premeditation. I'd love to hear other opinions and examples.

I would make sure to talk to former girlfriends, mistresses, etc. in these areas also.

I wonder how much of the truth and control the DT will actually get from their client.
