I guess now the question will be what could his defense possibly be? And whats the deal with JRs prescription bottle being found in the dumpster? Did he clean out the van right there in broad daylight? Suicide seems very unlikely with her plans to divorce; accidental od? Then why not call 911? Self defense? Seems pretty farfetched since he had no injuries. Premeditation seems likely as well as a big coverup. He's got a lot of ground to cover here.

I incline towards premediation only because - so far - there's been no mention of evidence found in the home and the lack of visible injuries (that we know of). In many of these cases - like Kira Trevino and Tammy Salle - when it appears to be the result of a moment of sheer rage, there's more evidence. I don't think he had time to do such a thorough clean up nothing was found.

Were her clothes ever found? I forget.

But of course, we know nothing about CoD and it could indeed be obvious that he attacked her. Or, maybe she wasn't in the home.

I am going cross eyed looking through Craiglist posters for dressers. It has been an especially long haul as in England they are called a chest of drawers and a dresser is something you have in the kitchen. I finally worked it out though.

Anyway, I'm back to April now and just checking in to make sure no-one has done this already and I'm not wasting my time.

If I'm not, and anyone knows if Jennifer's dresser had a mirror on top, please let me know.

ETA: I'm able to search because a pic of it was posted on Jenn's fb page, but it was only the bottom half.

RE the passport issue; can't Chenango LE/DA just call the Dutch Embassy and ask if GR has a Dutch passport?

 • #446
a couple people in hot water...

They are an absolute disgrace. Well done Joe for highlighting the behaviour, but it made me feel quite ill.

How must their families and loved ones be feeling, seeing that sort of information being revealed?

I completely forgot that Americans get taxed on their worldwide income - I think you are the only country in the world that does that.

:stormingmad: tell me about it! At least the (2nd) country to which we pay taxes provides us with affordable (almost free) medical care.

But...are you saying that Holland doesn't charge taxes to citizens abroad? I was hoping that a review of GR's tax statement would reveal his citizenship status. Any ideas on how to confirm citizenship?

ETA: Would the Netherlands reveal that info simply upon being asked by LE or DA? Or...more importantly...reveal passport status?

ETA: U.S. citizens living abroad don't have to pay income taxes on the first $70,000 (or something like that) earned abroad. But we do have to pay Social Security taxes (I think we can claim exemption, but then we don't get any SS when we retire or if we become disabled). But it sounds like if GR had dual citizenship he didn't have to pay taxes to Holland.

AS a citizen of an EU country where you were born in one but work/live in another, you can choose which country to pay your taxes in. So, for example, a Dutch citizen who leaves the Netherlands to work in England will no longer have to pay tax in the Netherlands, if they are not working there and are paying tax on their earnings in England......however, if they have a source of income in the Netherlands as well (rental income/business), they would have to pay tax on that income, in the Netherlands.

Tax wise, this can work out well for a couple where the wife is not working.

Would have looked much worse, or OTOH may have never taken it this far, had Jen actually met with the matrimonial attorney (appointment scheduled prior to her disappearance).

Speculating that once he discovered that an appointment was scheduled, or even if he understood that she was going to move forward with an attorney, he needed to move quickly prior to her actual visit with said attorney.

It would certainly have looked much worse for him had she actually met with one, and then mysteriously vanished one day. IMO, he may have needed to end it prior to any such actual meeting with a divorce attorney.

My guess is he discovered information about her appointment, or her desire to contact a divorce attorney, through revelations to him by close friend of Jen's. Additional info may have been collected by him through checking her iPhone, computer searches, etc.

No personal items of Jennifer's were found at Center Road in the area near her body (accdg to media). So, presumably, her clothing was not found...unless, perhaps, they were found in her closet back home.

I do so love your forget-me-nots! I actually stole your photo and have it pasted on my computer start up page.

I'm glad you planted a garden in her honor. Noticed in recent media photos of their home that Jennifer's gardens had been neglected. No one had gone in and cleaned out the beds after the snows. I found that sad.

GR's tax statement should reveal if he has any income in the Netherlands, as US citizens have to declare the income they earn anywhere in the world.

The Netherlands might well NOT reveal if GR has a Dutch passport, as they rate privacy highly. In Germany we have a case where the privacy of a man who has gone missing with the 'woman' he loves is a great concern. He is a 53-year-old, married man. The 'woman' is a 13-year-old child.

This passport information is something the FBI could get in a second though.*

Or someone should ask around in the expat communities for the former Dutch Caribbean islands- an answer would come back eventually, I'm sure. Maybe it is time for us to start highlighting and linking Jennifer's case to media there anyway, just in case GR disappears?

Appears that the Grand Jury indictment indicates that she was murdered in their home...must have some evidence from 4 days spent inside, IMO.

BBM

A Chenango County grand jury today handed up an indictment charging Ganesh "Remy" Ramsaran with second-degree murder in connection with the Dec. 11 killing of his 36-year-old wife, Jennifer, in the couple's home at 🤬🤬🤬 Sheff Road in New Berlin.

Ganesh "Remy" Ramsaran killed his wife and college sweetheart in the New Berlin home the two shared for years, according to an indictment handed up last week by a Chenango County grand jury.

He was awfully cocky about C'mon in, I got nothin' to hide, nothing in here (paraphrasing)...IMO, premeditated. Thought had everything covered and cleaned up, but something may have turned up.

And I knew right then that he did it.”"

Actually, my research points to a potential source of income from Trinidad-Tobago. An old college friend and former colleague, East Indian ancestry, lives there -- serves on the reserve police force. I'm going to ask him to sniff around for me.

<Mod Snip> I think it was planned. All that listing of everything she liked to eat and how she ate everything down to the condiments makes me think they considered poisoning her. I'm not sure if they did but I think it was considered. I have never seen a missing person list show up before with what a person liked to eat and not a good physical desciption of what they were wearing, hair color, correct vehicle color and all the information you would need to identify someone. I have never heard of anyone located based on what they ate. It just felt very wrong from the beginning. The placing of the phone, vehicle and Jennifer in different places to me shows it was planned. I know they made mistakes and that LE are going to find them.
I also think its weird it was mentioned she slept naked. It was odd to me it was mentioned kind of out of the blue and I think we will hear more about that.
Just my opinions thinking out loud.<Mod snip>

Jane's post Snipped by me

Possible GR Response: Would I be in a hot tub with my wife's BFF, even though we did have a short-lived affair, IF I had anything to do with my wife's murder?

The community could see us...Obviously, we weren't hiding. Why? Because I have nothing to hide!

Does that make sense to you, Folks? Had I anything to do with Jen's murder, do you think I would be seen publicly with her, esp in the Y hot tub!

That brief relationship had Nothing to do with Jen's murder!

She was a close friend of my wife's, my children's and mine.

---It's known as gaslighting...and he excels at it. It must have worked well for him in the past with Jen, and that's his MO.

For a one-time alcohol infused tryst it certainly seemed to have continued . This man can not tell the truth. Aargh he sickens me.

Strolling down memory lane:

Ganesh Ramsaran did not deny the extramarital tryst, and said he acknowledged it to investigators when he was questioned at length following his wife’s disappearance.

“The police know everything,” said Ramsaran, who in previous interviews acknowledged that he and his wife experienced marital difficulties. “I have nothing to hide from anybody.”

He blamed “obsessed Internet stalkers” with spreading what he called unfounded rumors.

“What does that have to do with anything,?” he said about the tryst.
