Haven't been able to find out much about Mary Ann Kricko, other than she practices general law. She doesn't seem to be very well known in the industry.

The only court case I could find (so far) is one where she and her partner (Gilberto Garcia) represented a number of illegal immigrants in a case filed against Walmart (Walmart had hired them, and then the undocumented aliens had been arrested in a raid that the U.S. govt conducted nationwide, so now they were suing Walmart for illegal trafficking and exploitation of undocumented aliens).

An interesting case, but can't help but wonder if she has any experience in capital murder cases?

Prayers for Jennifer's children. This trial is sure to be painful for all involved...But it's necessary for justice.
Speaking of...I can't help but snicker, thinking about Remy writhing around in jail. It's not a pleasant place. Once you get to prison, Remy, you can buy a TV and a typewriter! Not the technology you were such a fan of, but it's better than county jail...except for that while "life imprisonment" thing...

Odd that GR retained an attorney who's pretty much a DWI lawyer -- scanning through those billings very quickly -- didn't catch any murder cases. But, maybe I missed one or two?

Hmmm...well, still haven't found any homicide cases handled by Ms. Kricko; however, did find a murder case represented by her husband and partner, Mr. Garcia, who also generally deals with divorce and DWI, along with serving as the Town Attorney (I'm assuming he'll lend her assistance with the case). Defendent accused of murdering his wife before an impending divorce, then tried to flee the country -- was caught on a layover in Florida on his flight to Columbia.

Whew! I went through and read most of the posts. It is good to see progress on keeping GR behind bars and punished since I have been away.

I think about Jennifer often, especially during this winter with the roads covered in snow. I still feel sad and very angry about the whole ordeal.

I hope time goes super fast for us and eternally slow for GR.

Does anyone have any idea why i cant bring up the J4J site on facebook tonight? It worked last night but all it does now is come back up with my news feed. Did they take it down? Or was i banned? Hi Horsenaround :seeya: - It's down for some reason, don't know why but am trying to find out.

From what they said yesterday, the pretrial was a non-event and they have decided to have it a few weeks before trial.
