So it's not near the Y? Heck, I'm so confused now....

Ashley Babbitt (@evesunashley) tweeted at 8:13pm - 10 Sep 14:

@AbigailinNY @findbobharrod negative. It's outside city limits. One possible way to get to the Y though. (https://twitter.com/evesunashley/status/509766661835325441)
IMO I think the way he would have come from the apts on State Rt 23, would be to go east on state rt 23 to the intersection with N Broad st in Norwich, just above RiteAid, then take a left at intersection next to the RiteAid parking lot and onto the Y in back of RiteAid. There would be no cameras except for Ho-Jos and RiteAid and those could be avoided by going on the opposite side of the street.

Why on earth is the witness operating the DA's computer? What the heck's going on?

From VI Jillian's Post 304 above--

<snip>

From Med Examiner's Testimony:

Cut :: 1/4 left thumb / 2 inch bottom of left foot

Dr. believes there may have been open wounds...Blood will continue to drain from the body after death as a hose will drain but not under pressure (so body could have been dead and cut while being put into van and blood would come out of said cuts).

They are quite large cuts, if you think about it. I can't think how that would have happened. Either during a struggle, or being dragged. Especially thumb wound? Was Jenn really snipping her hair when GR attacked her? Or maybe tried to defend herself and he took the scissors off her?

Really, really hard to understand how Jennifer sustained a cut on her left foot, if it was on the sole.

Yes, on left sole of foot and left thumb knuckle.

Appears to me, she was hit on back of the head (MSM articles), and then finished off.

Lacerations are prob from when placed in van.

Re snips of her hair in bathroom: MOO After she was murdered...he snipped from her head AFTER. He's more than capable of doing that imo

More of his staging type of activities...and he did plenty of staging imo

But what would cut/lacerate you in the back or front of a van?

Most security cameras can be accessed over the internet. The witness may be trying to bring up the playbacks of that date. I know because i have security cams all over my barn and house. Mine can be accessed over the internet too.

Ashley's story from yesterday's testimony:
http://www.evesun.com/news/stories/...an-death-a-homicide-cause-of-death-uncertain/

Stoppacher testified as both the medical examiner who performed the autopsy and an expert in the field. The reasoning for conducting an autopsy is to declare a cause of death and a manner of death, he said, adding that there are three components to an autopsy.

First is the external examination where injuries are noted, clothing, and where he would look for natural diseases. Second is the internal exam, where surgical procedures are performed to examine the condition of the brain, heart, lungs, liver, and other organs. Finally is the lab component that consists of x-rays, microscopic tests, blood samples, and toxicology tests.

“All three components are how we arrive at a determination,” Stoppacher said.

He said the most striking thing he noticed about the victim in this case was that he could tell she had been deceased for “some period of time.”

Due to decomposition of the body, and what Stoppacher referred to as “animal activity,” he was ultimately unable to determine a cause of death. He described the difference between cause of death and manner of death. A cause of death for a person could be a heart attack, and for that person the manner would be declared natural causes as he said a heart attack results from natural activities of bodies.

I don't know enough about her type of van...hope someone else can speak to it or recall.

But her body was NOT found wrapped in blanket, rug etc.

I'm thinking poss metal...moving or adjustment of seats...but I really don't know.

Stoppacher said in the case of this victim, there was no abnormal tissue; she didn’t have a stroke, pneumonia, hypothermia.

In the victim’s case, he did note “relatively small” bruises in a few locations on her body and a laceration of approximately one-half to three-quarters of an inch on the top left thumb knuckle. He said there was another tear behind her toe that was close to two inches in size. He said each injury could have been there prior to her death.

With regard to his internal examination, Stoppacher said there was decomposition to some of her organs, and he noted an area of bleeding on the left side of her scalp, near the top of her skull, approximately an inch in size.

“There were no fractures or breaks,” Stoppacher said. “On her back there were two narrow bands of bleeding, from left to right.”

http://www.evesun.com/news/stories/...an-death-a-homicide-cause-of-death-uncertain/

Stoppacher testified that those injuries happened prior to the victim’s death, because after death, “You don’t get bleeding as localized as that,” he said. “Although if the body does bump something after death, it could happen.”

According to Stoppacher, there was “no lethal injury in and of itself.”

Stoppacher said there are ways of death that don’t leave marks outside of a body, including suffocation or smothering. He added sometimes a medical examiner could see evidence of that, but in this victim’s case, he could not prove nor disprove that. He said another possibility was strangulation, but there were no bones injured on the victim, which is common with strangulation.

"In this case, my ruling was the death was the result of a homicide,” Stoppacher said. “Based on the circumstances, a healthy woman found naked on the side of the road, I had sufficient information to call it a homicide instead of undetermined.”

There would have been blood in room murder occurred in; signs of cleanup with whatever product he would have had to use.

Believe I read today that he let Powell into his home and gave him a "tour" on the 12th (the next day) when he gave him laptops, his jogging clothing etc.

Blood is in the van and what, droplets??, on a sweatshirt he was wearing while "jogging."

Today, a photo was tweeted of two important witnesses at Jennifer's trial, hugging and smiling at the airport. One of them was Ganesh Ramsaran's mistress Eileen Sayles. She was smiling broadly. I was so shocked and dismayed by that.
