I am really starting to wonder what the deal is with tox tests everywhere. Why should they take so long? And why shouldn't her case have been moved to the front of a line, in any event? It is unlikely that Syracuse is currently testing a lot of potential murder victim cases.

If Jennifer had fibro as well as other painful conditions, they are bound to find a variety of prescription meds in her system, IMO. I deal with chronic pain and have a cocktail of drugs in my system at any given time. Some of them, which I no longer take, had very weird side effects and could make one think about suicide. If she was taking any of those, I worry that may be used against her.

Here's my opinion: The police are being thorough. If there were drugs found on preliminary screens, they would do further , more in depth studies to find amounts, how long they have been in her system etc. If there are meds for her known medical conditions, amounts and length of time in her body will be important. If there are other meds not found in her medication list of prescriptions then that could indicate many things including premeditation for another person.
I don't find waiting for all this a problem, it only makes me think they have a poi in mind, they know where that person is and don't feel the community at large is in danger. If there were concerns that there is a killer out there randomly attacking women, the police would be acting differently.

Checking in for Jennifer.

A COD is needed before any charges can be lodged and tests take time.
My guess is they will try and get it right the first time and to accomplish that you need to be complete and thorough.
Another thing to keep in mind at this point there are many different agencies involved in the process. More layers means more time.
If you really feel this is on the back burner you couldn't be further from the truth. Time will lead to the truth and " the truth always comes out".

Buying up domain names... might seem unusual.. but it would prevent anyone who wanted to get the truth out, rather than the PR message, using those names..would it not...

No wonder there was no money for billboards.

When JR went missing this wasn't such a hot button issue. GR had already started the propaganda push that she ran off with another gamer and the lame stream media ran with it. No one really knew much about them so little attention was paid to it. People take time outs from time to time.

As far as the police sitting right across the street from Plank Rd Manor isn't entirely accurate. When the weather isn't wet they may be right across the street. In wet weather no way. They would be down the street several hundred feet at an angle not good to observe the entire parking lot. However the do turn around in the parking lot frequently. Like you said it wasn't a hot button issue at the time, so who knows why it wasn't spotted or when it was actually dumped there.

in all due rspect . a mother of 3, sunday school teacher, care giver to the elderly. goes missing the day of her doughters school function. 2 weeks before xmas. i do agree it was not hot button issue........did her parents say... yea i think she run off? when did they speak to her mom and dad? her farther apparently new better!!! did they speak with her parents ASAP ? im sure many would have disagreed with gr, between her phone , van , blood in the van. 2 weeks before xmas.... somebody should have made it a hot button issue......the LE/media thats who.... i smelt **** around the time the phone was found. im sure her parents smelt it also
just curiouse, when did everyone elses red flags went out ?
missing woman? missing sunday school teacher. found discarded phone..missing van a worried husband............and no all points bullitin on the van..........i still say they did crap work...imo

Domain names are cheap .. $10 - $15 for the year (and according to the 'whois' on the domain name, it has only been purchased for one year by lostnmissing) .. also, the hosting for jenniferramsaran.com is done through blogger.com, so that is free. Not much $ was put out for the website. :twocents:

ETA: I've seen many real estate agents buy up domain names for houses they have listed for sale .. for example: 123mainstreetwest.com .. they would only need it as long as the house is for sale, but it's so cheap to buy them up, and great marketing.

do you mean if someone wanted to sart a website like (tips 4 jenniefers justice). or to spread the word of a bad investagation, or maybe to protect there own intrest, if maybe they had made a statement like " i already rulled GR out" ownership of that domain would help. depending on your couse.

Do you have a link? I don't recall that. Maybe you're thinking of this?

"I can't wrap my head around it. That's not remotely where I have been these last two months or so," said Jennifer's husband Ganesh Remy Ramsaran.

In this quote, he clearly seems to be saying "I haven't been remotely thinking she may be dead."

I don't think he said "never been" -- but rather something more like, "that's nowhere near where I've been in the past couple months"

And that just struck me as a really ODD thing to say:

1) For one thing, he HAD been near Center Road when he found the phone

2) If GR had been proactive enough to go out looking for her phone, it stands to reason that if he was really desparately searching for Jenn, that he would have been tracing the route between his house and where the phone was found and in the area near where the phone was found to try to discover other clues -- such as her van. Like what her Dad did.

3) But to totally separate himself from that area...that just seems a very odd thing to say -- very defensive. Not the sort of thing an innocent person would say.

And yes, I think that he was quite familiar with the Center Road area and the Finger Lakes trail.

I've noticed it's been unusually quiet in here, especially amongst our regular posters. I hope that nobody is being discouraged by harassment of certain previous posters, public or otherwise. I also hope nobody is being encouraged to not speak out as voices of Jennifer by those outside this forum.
Please remember that Jennifer has no voice, we've all played a small part in helping her obtain one, (with large part credited to Mr Mahoney),please don't fall silent and let anyone stifle Jennifer's voice again.
JUSTICE FOR JENNIFER!

BBM -- I 100% agree that this is what he meant. He was talking about his mindset, not the road where she was found. IMO.

Jennifer's body was located in the Pharsalia Woods (the woodlands that encompass New Michigan, Pitcher Springs, Perkins Pond, and Pigeon Hill State Forests). In particular the New Michigan State Forest area.

http://www.cnyhiking.com/FLT-NewMichiganStateForest.htm

On the map on that website, the Plymouth Loop section of the Finger Lakes Trail crosses just south of the area where Jennifer's body was discovered (just East of Coy Street, along Center Road).

Here's a link for the Plymouth Loop itself:
http://www.cnyhiking.com/PlymouthLoop.htm

On that map if you were to go from Plymouth Lean-to and head on a bearing due north, heading towards Center Road, you'll pass over, or very near the spot where Jennifer's body was located.

Another thing to point out is at that lower part of that page, it calculates the distances between each of the points along the Plymouth Loop as being 6.8 miles.

6.8 miles isn't exactly, but is fairly close to being a quarter of a marathon distance which is approximately 6.6 miles. It'd be a good place to run if training for a cross-country marathon run, or a run in which there will be varying terrain and moving up and down heights.
