He didnt even know him
Cops say man who allegedly killed another with a bow-and-arrow shot victim after fight with his roommate
A Mastic man walked into the middle of his street, aimed a powerful deer-hunting bow at a man he didn't know and shot a razor-edged arrow through his chest and killed him, witnesses and Suffolk police said yesterday.
Stumbling, Juan Carlos Munoz reached back and pulled the 3-foot arrow the rest of the way through his chest before he collapsed to the ground Sunday night, police said.
"I was holding his hand," as he was dying, said Munoz's brother, Alex Maldonado, 16, who was standing beside him as the arrow tore through his body. "He didn't say anything. He was just trying to breathe. ... He looked peaceful."
The father of three young boys, who was known by friends as "Angel," later died. Thomas Sirico, 34, who lived across the street from the scene of the killing, later was charged with second-degree murder.
