some more attempts at clearing up the freak of raped the 15 yr old yesterday.

at the end, he wobbles as the duffel, swings to his back duffel seems to be light colored, maybe canvas with a broad leather band in the middle, in the same pattern of the strap pad. There's something that reflects light differently at about his hip, on side near the street. Looks like bounce a little as he walks.

But there is a qualm between LE and PV…..
PV is irritated that LE isn’t showing him the entire GoPro video recorded shortly before KV entered the park.

There is confusion about the Go Pro Video. Apparently, 4 of KV's girlfriends saw the whole entire video. PV saw only a screen shot (he said on CS radio show last week), but told Newsday reporter he had seen the Go Pro Video when he hadn't. I would think if there was something on the video KV's girlfriends would have told PV. Now, this past Saturday, the Newsday reporter told me via e-mail that Chief Boyce told him that they talked to the "mystery woman" from the Go Pro Video early last week! She is from HB and regularly walks in the area and apparently, she never even entered the park as PV thought she had. The reporter said a "confidential informant" of his told him there was nothing unusual on the Go Pro Video. Despite this, PV has not updated the nor his FB site with any new info. He was still looking for the Go Pro Video footage and wanted to know who the woman was last Weds in an update he did. This is not unusual, because he never updated the site when the "missing jogger" was dismissed as a person they wanted to talk to. The problem with the missing runner was he ran south on paved roads and KV ran north into the dirt trails and then out on paved roads later in the run. He was made out to be a suspect in the media and wasn't guilty of anything other than he hurt his knee and wasn't running for awhile. CS talked about the runner on his radio show last Tuesday night to let the public know he was cleared (yeah, back on August 29th!). The runner probably threatened to sue if they didn't say something about him being innocent. Anyway, if there is nothing of interest on the Go Pro Video it would be nice if NYPD or PV said so instead of this dragging on the three weeks since the first plea for help in finding the Go Pro Video. NYPD has had this video since end of August and it has taken a long time for it to get leaked out to the public. PV said in the radio show that LE has cut him off on new info so he has to do his own investigation. But, IDK if that's really true. The newspaper reporter said that NYPD told him they still have officers stationed in the area in case anyone wants to come forward with any info. (Please remove this if it is against the TOS rules, etc. since it doesn't have a link to link it to..it's info from a reporter that I send info to when I come across something that might be of interest- like in the beginning he had heard that the family was open to using psychics...and I told him of the few I knew who were working with the family).

P.S. I was looking for the TOS rules, etc on what can and can't be posted (no names?), etc and couldn't find them. It seems I saw them years ago when I first joined, but it was long time ago. If anyone could point me in the direction of where they are located it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks much.

I've been lurking for a few weeks and all of you are doing an awesome job with this case. I'll never catch up with all the 200+ pages of info that's been developed, but scanned through some of it over the past few weeks. I've been following the case since it started and was hoping they would find the killer(s) by now. I do feel that KV was targeted by someone who saw her Instagram, karinavee.com blog, or saw her at Vetros or the Central Lounge. But. now, I'm beginning to see lots of comments (see online article link below) about PV and his potential ties to the Mafia and his business as a roofing contractor..and began to wonder if that had something to do with her murder. IDK.

I do know that PV actually owns another house on 84th Street that is listed as the business address (found that house only a few weeks ago). The house he (and KV lived in also) lives in is on 84th Street also but different address. Previously (10 weeks+ ago), it looked like both his business and KV's speech pathology business were registered at the house on 92nd Street (we think KV used to live in this house and moved to her parents sometime late last year). It appears that he owns at least three houses in HB that are worth close to $3 million!!! Anyway, probably what I'm posting here could be against the TOS, so I better be quiet. Please delete if against the rules.

Why would LE show the video to four of her girlfriends? I would think they would only share this info with a family member (and from what PV is saying, they are not doing so with him).

It's in this Newsday article where it says they shared the Go Pro Video with 4 of her girlfriends in late August. PV said in this article below that he saw the Go Pro Video too- recently. But, the next night on the CS radio show he said he only saw a screen shot of the blond mystery woman with double pony tails. He said that LE wouldn't let him see the entire video and did an update the very next day on asking if someone knew who shot the video so he could see it. Another message on RIP Karina Vetrano FB Site said they were looking for it and they wanted a copy of it (October 12, 2016 when PV &CV finally were told about this site). According to the what the reporter told me this past Saturday, the NYPD talked to the "mystery woman" early last week and she's not a mystery anymore. She apparently did not go into Spring Creek Park and saw nothing. There was a text message sent by PV to the tattoo artist that did their tattoos of KV the week before in which he said that LE would not let him see the video and to please send this message out to see if anyone knew who the Go Pro Video person was. Anyway, from what I've heard there was nothing unusual on the video. IDK why they haven't let him see the entire video if there is nothing on it. It is my understanding the Newsday did not get the information correct. 4 of KVs friends have not seen the full video or any video for that matter. Only an image was shown to them to see if they knew the person or if Karina knew the person. I believe the woman in the photo was identified already, but PV has not updated anyone. He never updated about the male jogger they were looking for either (as someone already mentioned)

IMO NYPD did not share the GoPro video with PV for fear that he would seek this person out himself, which may or may not hinder the work of investgators. Knowing how aggressively he is searching for his daughter's killer (and rightly so) I can see this as a possibility AND I believe most parents of victims would do the same. Especially after months of dead ends.

Yes, there was this one cap, where his eyes just pop out, seem soulless, but they would, wouldn't they? I think the creep picked on a young girl because as the crime became known, his victim would not, thus garner less sympathy and concern, somehow in his twisted mind. Thanks PP. I do think KV was scoped out when she lived in her house. By somone who knew her family. IDK about organized crime, could've been a sub or a sub's crewie who did work with PV. jmo

Something reminded me of this. I think it is stretch to bring the Mafia into this case, topically, even. A young woman was brutally raped and murdered, and I find it sad how her family has been treated, but as you can see from the real community around them, their response, prejudice and assumptions do not divide them.

Agreed. I urge anyone who is considering the Italian mafia as a possible scenario to, please, find ONE case in which a mafia member brutally raped and murdered a woman. It was not in the past and is not now their MO. IMO.

He doesn't seem homeless or does he? He met up with her, so he may have had some device to do that, at least a cell? Could he have used an internet cafe or had his own laptop? If he did meet up with her, and isn't homeless, why would he have that big heavy bag with him?

Chapped lips? I wonder if exposure to the elements is not the only cause, could it have been due to recent dental work? Could his hand being up to his face be a cell call? Why was he rushing? I noticed near the intersection he looks over when you can see lights from a car, and he sinks his chin into his hood more. Then, he just runs, after he passes the camera which he looks right into, until the bag swinging kind of trips him to the side. He runs awkwardly, his feet splayed out to the sides, legs squeezed together? What's that about? For balance?

From what I can tell, it’s been 10 days since PV last requested the GoPro video, so perhaps he has seen in between then and now…. and like you said “he's just not updated anyone via FB site or updates.”
It would be best if the public got updates!
