A neighbor stated Chanel is a monster who terrorized the neighborhood. I hope they come forward.

I know looks can be deceiving, but this guy- young or not looks like a creeper to me. Something's not right in his expressions.

One reporter at Mayor BdB's news presser today about crime stats, asked Boyce about reports of CL having diminished mental capacity. He told her he's said all he has had to say about that.

She also opened another question to him by stating that we all know that DNA is Not 100% accurate and there have been people who have been wrongly convicted based on DNA.

I've come to really respect Boyce. He calmly and unemotionally told her there are different forms of DNA, molecular, mitochondrial, etc and that they have a very strong profile in this case. And bc what they have is so strong, in this case the DNA is accurate (that it's CL).

His sister said police tricked him into confessing. Tax payers will have to pay for hired guns to try and debunk DNA and call it junk science.. The father used the phrase "these people" have caused alot of hurt and want to put it back on us. What is he alluding to? Yes folks, the circus is coming back to town.

I think her family and friends are hurting so bad, maybe even more so knowing that she was killed bc CL was "angry" It was truly senseless. it doesn't seem like sex was the motivator, it was just bc he raged.

I was listening to a video of the father and he said something close to this. Not sure if same one, but the one I heard, he implied that those in the son's own community (don't recall which home he was at), had somehow framed his son.

He's helping son's defense attorney, attempting to sway public perception and trying to elicit a negative reaction from the V's IMO. He's not shocked...he's been very calm & deliberate imo

It's always interesting to me how people can perceive people so differently. And I don't mean that snarkily at all. I tend to pride myself on being a good judge of character from the jump withbpeople. From his picture, I would have seen him as kind of an awkward kid who may have needed a friend. I shudder at my own misjudgment.

And if KV went running on that trail often-- he had the opportunity to have seen her before the day of her murder.
This just feels premeditated to me.
Hope he gets the harshest sentence allowed and that might mean life with no possibility of parole.

This sounds pre-judging ... so apologies if too harsh --- But I think if he's ever released I do not think they should trust his family to keep tabs on him (so that he doesn't harm another person).
They are either too busy to bother much about his whereabouts, or are afraid of him. Which imo is worse.

Cannot imagine that man being released and going to live in a neighborhood where no one knows what he's done.

I still remember reading about the Megan Kanka case and how her killer was relocated to that area after a failed attempt to place him and another man in a neighborhood with families.When the former people of that residence discovered what they'd been charged with --they raised up a storm. Which led to their housing in Kanka's town.
Unbelievable.

I agree. He lived in the area and was regularly seen there. Karina regularly jogged that path. I have a feeling he was out to do what he did that day. It's very possible he'd seen her before imo.

The jogger they are referring to in that article is someone totally different that was questioned months ago. This suspect was not a jogger.

Ohh, Me--I'm glad about that! No need to feed the trolls. No need to give them the reaction they want and then have it used against them later...the HB stereotype and all that goes with that.

I also perceive his family knowing what CL was capable of. Maybe they thought he'd never go as far as to kill someone.
But while CL was out roaming around and creeping people out --didn't his family at least wonder what he was up to ?

I do realize this was not his families' fault--- but it bothers me that his mom was seemingly able to brush off his excuse for the scratches-- immediately after KV's murder !
