The NYPD - 40th Pct. has activated the New York State AMBER Alert and is investigating a child abduction that occurred at 745 Eagle Ave, in Bronx, NY at about 11:30 PM on 12/16/2019.

The CHILD, Karol Sanchez is a Hispanic female, approximately 16 years old with black hair and brown eyes. She is approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds.

Karol was last seen wearing Blue bubble jacket with a white undershirt, Blue Jeans, Black sneakers, white back pack.

The VEHICLE has been identified as Possible Tan 4 door sedan 4-door sedan. The VEHICLE was last seen traveling East on Eagle Ave.

The child was taken under circumstances that lead police to believe that they are in imminent danger of serious harm and/or death.

Karol Sanchez and her mother were walking near Eagle Avenue and East 156th Street in the Bronx when four men in a tan sedan pulled up. Two men then got out of the car, pulled Sanchez in and drove off.

Her 36-year-old mother was pushed to the ground in the scuffle but she was not physically hurt. The suspect, described as men in their 20s, left her behind and she called 911. Dark surveillance footage shows the grab; two forms leap out of vehicle and grab another form off the street as rain appears to pour down. The car flees the scene with the girl.

The individuals wanted for questioning are described by the NYPD as four adult men in their 20s, all wearing dark clothing.

The NYPD has released footage of the incident and photos of the vehicle sought.

The girl, Karol Sanchez, was with her 36-year-old mom walking on a sidewalk in the Bronx about a mile east of Yankee Stadium at 11:20 p.m. when a beige-colored four-door sedan pulled up.

"Two unknown males exited the vehicle, grabbed the 16-year-old female, and dragged her inside the vehicle while pushing the victim's mother to the ground," according to an NYPD statement.

"The vehicle, also occupied by two additional unknown males, then fled east bound," the police statement said.
