Montgomery County man missing for nearly a month
Police need your help finding a missing Canajoharie man. Kevin White, 41, was last seen on January 12.

Police need your help finding a missing Canajoharie man.
Kevin White, 41, was last seen on January 12, walking on the Thruway crossing on the Mohawk Bridge to Palentine.
He is six feet, two inches tall and weighs around 185 pounds.
He has red/brown hair and a beard.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office at (518) 853-5500 or New York State Police at (518) 783-3211.
Meantime, police say they’ve done a lot to find him, including drone searches, abandoned building searches and interviews with many people. However, White’s sister, Nicole Frederick, says she still has a lot of unanswered questions.
The Canajoharie Police Department is the lead agency handling the case. They are receiving help from NYSP and other department.
However, Frederick says she would like for New York State Police to be the lead agency. She believes NYSP may have more resources.

Ok all this is Chief MacFadden, we are still looking and rechecking areas . If we get a lead that could possibly Be of interest we are following up every one. NYSP only take over investigation if requested. That being said we have had meetings with NYSP,Montgomery County Sheriffs department, NYS ENCON, and DEC and all have giving input as well as 100s of hours of manpower. I will not be putting out untrained people to search dangerous areas. State SAR team has searched areas that we think may be possible. We have been in contact directly with law enforcement departments in a 50 mile area as well as every police department in the state indirectly through numerous different methods. The search goes on but I do not go though all comments. I you have an idea see me at PD

The New York State Police is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Kevin White of Canajoharie, NY. White, age 41, was last seen on January 12, 2023. He is 6’2” and weighs approximately 185 pounds, with red/brown hair and a beard. NYSP is assisting the Canajoharie Police Department and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office with the investigation.
