Been looking over this thread for a while and think I may have found a potential match:

Anastasiya Ovetsky
Would have been 33 at the time
Height is about right
Possibly traveling to NY
Birth mark on leg
Speaks Russian

Sounds like it could be a possibility but they both have dental charts in NamUs, so they probably would have matched if they were a fit? Anastasiya's pierced tongue is interesting and reminds me of the Jane Doe's tattoo of the needle through the tongue. There's no mention of the Jane Doe having a pierced tongue but maybe it didn't have a stud in it when she was found, so they didn't notice?

Continuing with my hunch that this woman's tattoos seem very West Coast to me, I looked through all missing women in California whose demographics fit. Here is a list of all of the ones that don't have a circumstantial rule out like an obvious POI:

I'm focusing here somewhat on possible runaways who would have gotten the tattoos and implants after going missing. If the race could be determined or even partially narrowed down it would really help!

I agree, the cross on a finger could be a trend. I've noticed small symbol tattoos on fingers are popular among young women today. That's a really good reminder about Jennifer Londono who I think was Colombian having a Sanskrit tattoo.

I did find social media profiles for a few Jusic's in the Saint Louis area but none had relative or friends named Julijana. I'm still chewing through all missing women in California and Oregon mostly on a hunch I have based on the types of tattoos on the UID. One thing that is tough about this case is that her age range would make her either not a runaway or a runaway who survived without family contact for some time... I'm seeing many women too young to be her in all databases.

Wow WesternArtist you have done amazing research here really found a lot of women that could be this Jane Doe!!!. I do agree with you on it being tough that she could not be a runaway or that ran away a while ago with no family contact.. That is why I was looking at women fugitives/wanted from different states that maybe she could possibly be one of them.. again its hard!

I get happy when I check in and I see that this thread remains active.. I have been looking too I wish we had a recon to go by I think it might help a bit more

There’s a possibility since her case has been cold for so long who knows where she could have gone. Her case has always troubled me because Tacoma isn’t on the way from Seattle to Spokane. To leave Seattle heading to Spokane you would take I-90 through all of the suburbs on the east side and then over Snoqualmie pass. Tacoma is south on I-5 from Seattle. It’s out if the way.
