If the good doctor is our guy (and I'm admittedly unconvinced he is), then we should go as far back as at least 1976 to see if there are other possible victims. This would invovle checking in and around areas coinciding with where he went to school, where he interned, where he spent any extended time, etc. As SK's, for the most part, start killing in their early-to-mid 20s. Anyway, just sayin...
I think that we are dealing with a person who blossomed into a SK later than the
statistical average because the trauma (accident) that started him down this path wasn't during childhood. I know we haven't been able to glean much about the accident, but I was under the impression it happened in his adult life.
There were also extreme precipitating factors that occurred between 1997 - 2001 that I believe were the tipping point for him: loss of father, loss of job, drug rehab, and a trial that
nearly bankrupted him and took away his right to practice.
No one becomes a prolific SK overnight, there is always a history of trouble making whether it be killing pets or hurting people. The "Doc" has a documented history of gross negligence against minors while an EMT.
a little bit about the good samaritan law:
"the person rendering the aid will not be held liable for either injuries or death allegedly caused by any act of that “Good Samaritan” while rendering aid, UNLESS it is determined that the “Good Samaritan” was “grossly negligent” in performing his acts."
In short, EMT's and rescue personal (which the doc was at the time of these cases) are legally protected by this law, in case the patient dies or their condition is worsened by the "help", the "helper" can't be legally liable for that death. (Perfect job for a SK type huh?) UNLESS it is overwhelmingly obvious that the helper hurt the person in need. Well according to Nassau County Supreme Court, it was overwhelmingly obvious on more than one occassion that our "Doc" was being grossly negligent. Find my old posts for the court docs, I provided them on this forum in early April.
Hmmm... hiding behind the good samaritan law ..... "I was trying to help" ... hmmm sounding familiar? "I saw her looking sick and distressed and tried to help her" - CPH on SG.
"I only called the family to offer help". With a track record like his, thanks but no thanks, I am sufficiently scared of his "help".
He's been hurting people and hiding behind "trying to help them" since the late eighties, then graduated to murder around 2000 .... for those unconvinced the doc is our guy, it might help if you first take your head out of the sand.
