Anyone interested in the courts docs can PM me with their email and I will send them on. They make for a very interesting read, especially since he claims in court that he is an MD when in reality he has only ever been a DO.

Isn't that a felony? At the very least it's evidence of fraudulent behavior back as far as 1989.

My guess is this is what led to his departure as SCPD police surgeon. Lying on the resume.
If he lied about being an MD, than $h1t I'm going to start questioning whether the DO title is fraudulent too.

Anybody good at looking up records want to verify if this liar actually graduated from ANY TYPE of medical school?

truthie, I could maybe find out but i have to ask someone...i will try and let y'all know.

this morning I am sitting here trying to imagine what kind of communication I would have with a TV station if I somehow became a POI in a case like this one on my own block.

What would I put in this communique?

would I write one?

would I type it out and put it in the mail???

fax???? hmmm.

e-mail?

would I write this letter in leiu of an interveiw?

I am trying to find his/my reasoning and his/my motivation...which is supposed to be convincing those who ask...that he/I am innocent of these suspicions.

My mother always told me NEVER_EVER put anything to paper...NEVER. I thought this man was educated and intelligent, so right here ...there is a prob....his narcissism and ego win over common sense the minute he begins this letter of denial, with the idea of actually sending it.

I think that we are dealing with a person who blossomed into a SK later than the statistical average because the trauma (accident) that started him down this path wasn't during childhood. I know we haven't been able to glean much about the accident, but I was under the impression it happened in his adult life.

There were also extreme precipitating factors that occurred between 1997 - 2001 that I believe were the tipping point for him: loss of father, loss of job, drug rehab, and a trial that nearly bankrupted him and took away his right to practice.

No one becomes a prolific SK overnight, there is always a history of trouble making whether it be killing pets or hurting people. The "Doc" has a documented history of gross negligence against minors while an EMT.

BBM (and snipped for brevity)

We're still on the same page, Spider, except I'd add a domineering, emasculating wife into the mix.

Let's assume for a moment that our SK (whoever he may be) is a man who feels he can do nothing right. A series of unfortunate events adds to his feelings of helplessness and inadequacy. Throw in a wife who is domineering, and we might well end up with a man who feels helpless and powerless in his own life. If his pyche is warped, would this be the kind of man who would feel the need to steal power from somewhere? Perhaps by having complete power over someone he COULD have complete power over? Someone vulnerable?

I think maybe.

You bring up same things I've been wondering about. His title, surgeon? Why does this PD need it's own surgeon, size of the island/area? Sorry, not really familiar with that area.

The fact that the PD is not questioning his involvment when it <appears> to me that he could be in up to his neck, makes me doubt PD there. What is there track record, PD, do you know?

TIA HI EVERYONE!!!

The PD know his involvement, they just don't want the public to know it, and they prefer if he thinks that he is not a suspect. This case is now made of numerous cold cases going back to 2003 or further.

Also, we are dealing with a highly educated, extremely careful SK, this isn't some landscaper who enjoys killing prostitutes, this is a scientist with real knowledge of police work. The SK has specifically targeted girls that wouldn't likely even become a missing persons case.

There have been a few doctor serial killers in the past, but we are dealing with an adversary who not only has the intellect of a doctor, but ALSO has working knowledge of suffolk county police dept's routines, work, style, etc. He gleans info about the investigations by calling the families, pretending to be a police officer, etc. We are probably witnessing one of the best chess matches between killer and detectives in this countries history.

He has been playing a chess game with the police and wants to prove that he is smarter than them especially because he was "let go" from the dept.

I think this is one of the reasons we have seen 2 of the girls go missing from the Happauge Holiday inn.... right under the executive's noses.

Ahh ... but the letter-writer has time to think about his answers, revamp, revise ... as opposed to having surprise questions with no time to think out the response. The letter-writer CONTROLS when and how the information is being presented.

Contrary to your mom (sorry Mom ;)), I put important information in writing all the time when it is imperative that facts and truth be known and my words/thoughts cannot be skewed. It's etched in stone once done. In fairness, our information in this case is limited, but it does seem that whatever information CPH is putting forth, whether verbally or in writing, is at odds with what we know todate. IMO, that's not a smart person. He'd have been better off keeping his mouth shut and his fingers off the keyboard.

IMO, the doc had nothing to do with the killings....

he may be a quirky old guy but I really don't believe the police would just brush him off as a suspect and not tear his home apart (like they did Brewer's) if there was any evidence whatsoever that he was linked.

And IMO, Brewer is still who law enforcement have their sights on. They tore his home apart, impounded his vehicle, refused to comment about the "inconclusive results" of his polygraph, and locals have been posting that police keep doing "drive-bys" at his mom's. Unfortunately, he had several months to clean out his Oak Beach home & get rid of incriminating evidence (May to December) and I think that's why an arrest hasn't been made yet.

just my nickel

Agree. This guy is too wimpy and under his wife's thumb to do anything like these murders.

BTW, has anyone heard if the Brooklyn authorities are questioning the crazy who cut up the little boy in Borough Park about other murders? Seems that the weirdo was very computer-literate. He found girlfriends and even one wife (now divorced) online. Could he be one of the Craig's List killers...esp. with regard to the women cut up and found in suitcases? (He disposed of half of the little boy's body in a suitcase. The rest he had in his fridge when cops arrived.)

Does anyone have a link to video or more detailed info on the wife of Doc? I guess I've missed her input. I thought I read online that she gave an interview on GMA or one of the shows pronouncing her hubs innocense?

TIA

Thanks for this info. I hope that PD has survelience on the man and are watching him very closely.

How far apart are the murders, a couple of months?

I agree the letters are very passive agressive and controlling...he seems bewildered as to why or how...he goes on and on , protesting far too much.

In reading over again , I get a feeling of him as some hapless victim in a world that accuses him of things, takes his leg, ruins his career...a hapless husband, a situation that is just misunderstood. A man too weak, an unfornunate...someone who only cares

it feels very unusual, that's all I can say, because as a writer and a poster, I know for sure it's kind of easy to zip off a curt email, or regrettable note...so again, I am really stuck on how the letters were sent to the newsroom...

Grown men, rarely , if ever write letters like this. I am sure of it. Wonder if his wife wrote them?

would that explain the nauseatng whiny tone?

I think that is a sign of an extreme narcissist and someone who thinks he's smarter than everyone else. He should have kept his fingers off the keyboard because he's proven to us that all he's doing is making himself look even more suspicious (IMO). I think that his little letter writing episode is evidence of him thinking that if he takes the time to write some letters, we'll all buy into whatever he's saying simply because he's the "doctor" and he's educated.

Just my opinion.

if anyone can find the video i would like to see it, i looked back in april and couldn't find it. thanks.

in hindsight, going on that show seems absurd, but I guess they pay anyone that agrees to appear. It's probably a decent check too.

To think Shannan is not connected to the SK case is absurd. Here is a recent post from Sherlock (not me, confusing I know) about Joe Brewer's missing tenants.

Sherlock
Gia who lived in an apartment house on Higbie Lane across the street from 111 Higbie Lane. I will try to get the last name and exact address for you.July 6th, 2011 at 1:45 pm

As for the religious aspect Babylon plays a pretty significant role in Revelation.
Revelation 17

Babylon, the Prostitute on the Beast

*1 One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the punishment of the great prostitute, who sits by many waters. 2 With her the kings of the earth committed adultery, and the inhabitants of the earth were intoxicated with the wine of her adulteries.”
*3 Then the angel carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness. There I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was covered with blasphemous names and had seven heads and ten horns. 4 The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and was glittering with gold, precious stones and pearls. She held a golden cup in her hand, filled with abominable things and the filth of her adulteries. 5 The name written on her forehead was a mystery:

***BABYLON THE GREAT

***THE MOTHER OF PROSTITUTES

***AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

I wouldn't be surprised if the killer is a religious freak or these passages are part of his ritual somehow.

Right on...... You nailed it!!! What we are dealing with is a lot deeper and darker than this attention crazy Dr. Look, the Doc writes letters and sends them per fax or mail to the TV folks. Yet he is technologically proficient enough to troll CL, hide cell phone tracking, hide internet tracking, ect.... This Doc has about as much knowledge of modern communications as my 74 year old dad. Don't give him too much credit.
There is a lot of ritualistic stuff going on here. GB4 and AC4 "could" be tied together. It's a stretch, but it is plausible.
I would place my bets on the SK being an Male, Evangelical, former LE or communications engineer, between 30-45, married, no longer living in LI but returns seasonally, Very outspoken in the community he lives, well liked, moderately attractive, and physically fit.
Seems to me that LE want JB, the Doc, MP and the unknown drifter to be in the spotlight so that they can follow up on leads they have to apprehend the real SK. They want him to think he is not on the radar. Or to contradict this theory, the SK has directly contacted LE, and LE has not reviled the info as of yet. And LE is using JB, the Doc, MP and the unknown drifter to satisfy the media and keep them out of the real investigation.
You see, in LE's eyes, the media blew this investigation for them from the start. Once the first body was found, and subsequently the others, the media has been on this like crazy. When the real fault lays in LE's corner. They should have down played the finds and started surveillance immediately. But once the story broke, that was it. Now they have blocked out the media and are sending them on a wild goose chase. IMO
