Are you saying fluke is DS? Supposedly DS worked at the same place as Dr H's son

That's what I remember from sleuthing after the interview he did. But I guess we'll all have to wait for Seaslug to give us the moral of the story. ;)

I think the drugging the victim is most probable, and would explain why SG could get away, but only for 45 mins or so. It also would explain his ability to take out a man and a woman at the same time as he did in 2000 and again in 2003. "your under arrest unless you enter this rehab program now, take this"

He does drive (or did) a large white pickup with cabin/cap on back. Similar to the one in the google earth images we studied about the truck on side of OP.
(with unofficial siren light in window too boot)

I attached image of GB4 skeleton, you can see how close to edge of brush it was, literally about 4 feet in. the other full skeletons/bodies were the same distance in, while the dismembered small remains (throwable) were a good distance into the brush. That behavior literally points to someone with his disability. The behavior is also consistent with the way the other remains were discarded: away from oak beach, they are literally dumped on side of road, without attempting to hide the bodies, but on his own street, there is an effort to hide the body a little, but not a very good effort. To me, it says it's the same guy who knows he didn't leave any evidence, and is confident that no one will suspect him, so he doesn't go through much trouble to hide the bodies, unless of course they are on his own street.

This picture helped me understand how in the summer someone might feel confident the body wouldnt be seen from a car, but come December how a cop who was 'looking for the trace of a vanishing girl' could see something and take the dog for a walk. And if you knew ocean parkway like our SK does, you wouldnt worry about winter because there isn't anyone parking on the side of the road and walking around the island in the winter.

You know sometimes I think this case isn't really that crazy, but follows that simple principle in life that people tend to do to others what someone has done to them. People who are sexually abused as children tend to sexually abuse children when they become adults, people who are physically abused tend to physically abuse, the same is true for emotional, psychological, and other forms of abuse. It only seems logical to me that someone who has suffered disfigurement, amputation, and a near death experience would have the urges to exact those actions against someone that the victim believes represents their perpetrator. I will not be suprised if we find out the driver of the car that disfigured CPH was a young woman, and that the accident may have happened on Ocean Parkway.

That's news to me. Got a link to that info?

white truck.

it was stated on the findshannangilbert.com website, but I painstakingly verified it via one of the (I believe news 12) video clips when they were behind the gate and driving down Larboard Court, there was a clear shot of the truck parked in front of his house as they passed slowly.

Thank you endlessly goathair, I have been trying to show through work history that CPH would be familiar with the dump site in Manorville. But you found the proof first, and much more on the money than I ever imagined.

CPH regularly drove up and down Halsey Manor road in Manorville during one of the most traumatizing experiences of his life: the flight 800 tragedy.

At the time of the flight 800 tragedy CPH was director of Suffolk's EMS and SCPD police surgeon. He was one of the top emergency medical personal on scene for the entire recovery operation centered at the East Moriches Coast Guard station. The boat house at the Coast Guard station was turned into a makeshift morgue filled with hundreds of body bags, countless buckets of remains, and an endless number of dismembered body parts.

CPH would have used Halsey Manor road to travel between the coast guard station in East Moriches and Calverton Executive Airpark(secondary site).

So, here is a man who experienced a sever accident and trauma of his own, then during his post as EMS director he oversees the most traumatic event in Long Island's history. SK or not, this man has directly experienced an unhealthy amount of carnage.

The 2 red X's on the attached map are the locations of the 2 Manorville female victims. I am still looking to verify that he worked in Riverhead during 2000 and possibly still in 2003.

God Bless the internet and the freedom of information for those who know how to get it :great:

Does anyone want to take a guess for when Hackett started working @ Central Suffolk Hospital in Riverhead (just down the road from Manorville) ???

Well the hospital added his name to their website in January of 2001 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
http://users.idworld.net/dmangels/ordway.htm

But I bet he started in the summer of 2000, and it took a few months to add him to the website (this was 2000 remember)

for those who don't know, the web has many tools to search and find when something was first found by crawlers on the web. You can use google search and specify a time range to determine when something was posted to the net. don't worry, I did this for you and took a screen shot of the results.

for all you non-believers out there, its time to take your head out of the sand and start believing. for people who don't know the long island area, trust us, if you are from long island and have an understanding for the popularity (and lack thereof) of certain areas on long island.
There aren't many people whose stomping grounds are jones island and riverhead, and he frequented both, during the exact times of the Manorville murders. If you know long island, you probably have a sinking feeling in your stomach like i do. I expected this to be the case, but still.....

Excellent, TS! Of course, we can't say with certainty that the truck belonged to CPH (could have been a friend visiting, could be the wife's truck, who can say?), but it does back up the info you got from the SG website.

Very impressive. :)

I took so long to answer because my post amd many of the responses from back then are missing because I was a new member who did not know how to follow the rules on who we can Sleuth.

I do know the identity of Flukeyou and the photos of him and his tattoos can be Sleuthed at Noreast.com. I also remember that it was tied in with the username Tunakiller (or something like that) at that same website as well as stripersonline.com.

It really is co,ing together now and the hairs on the back of my neck are indeed standing up! You made a believer out of this nonbeliever!

Only huge missing info now is the exact details on how he lost his leg (where, when and how along with the age/sex of driver if it was a car accident).

I'm confused. I thought Tunakiller and Flukeyou were both ALC's roomate, DS. Is that not correct?

ETA: Ah, I am confused. Tunakiller is DS, which I knew. No clue who Flukeyou is apparently, but I'm getting there. ;)

Okay...I'm looking at a picture of someone named Beverly C holding a fish, and she looks ALOT like one of the GB4. Either I'm on the right track or I've started to lose my mind.

I might need some sleep or something. ;)

OK... so now my head is spinning!!! If I had to choose the evidence FOR CPH being involved in this case, it would be:

a) the phone calls to the family of Shannon Gilbert and his assertion into this case.
b) his past history of being in close proximity of the crimes.

If I had to chose the evidence AGAINST CPH, it would be.... ????

a) the lack of hard evidence??
b) his injury and problems with carrying out the crime(s)??

It is difficult to weed through fact, fiction, and rumor in this case.

IMO, I still think the GB4 were killed by someone other than the Manorville killer. The circumstances are strikingly different.

I also don't believe Hackett is the GB4 killer. I don't see how he could have had all that time away from his wife....to hire prostitutes, kill them, dispose of them, etc.

I think whoever killed the GB4 was someone lazy, who really didn't bother much with details and just dumped them alongside the road. The Manorville killer went to much greater lengths, with dismembering, destroying tatoos, with multiple disposal sites, etc.

And, I'm still very perplexed with the Manhattan connection. What ties does the GB4 killer have there? work? family? finances?

On another note, I started researching all the Halsey Manor Rd Manorville residents....just looking "bassackwards" for any clues. 1 man there used to live 1 street over from Costello on Windmill Ave W Babylon, before he bought the land on Halsey Manor and he just got married in '09. Another guy used to live on Higbie Ln in W Islip, and another guy who lives with his mom was arrested for drugs, trying to run over a police officer, etc. Didn't find anything major though.

edited to add more "stuff"

one Oak Beach resident/homeowner (to the west of the actual Oak Beach community) who has his property for sale - at 76 Savannah Walk, was recently written about in a NY paper where he was getting his hair highlighted at a Manhattan salon. He & a brother co-own a wholesale business that's listed as a pet supply in Yaphank at 445 Sills Rd (Hwy 101) which is just a hop/skip/jump from Manorville.

and another Oak Beach resident who is an across the street neighbor from CPH has his property for sale at 54 Larboard Ct - he is co-owner of South Bay Charter. And a person with his same last name is the 1st Asst Manorville fire chief....

just looking at anything & everything :)

I'm more or less with you on this point, Mrs. PC. But I don't think our SK is lazy so much as he just doesn't give 2 you know what's about these girls after he's done with them. For him, the rush is in the hunt and the moment between life and death, which he controls. Once these girls are dead, they serve no purpose to him. Broken toys, in his mind. He has no reason to dismember them to conceal their identity, because there's nothing to tie them to him to begin with. And he doesn't dismember to transport...takes too much time, too much risk of getting caught, and these girls just aren't worth his time. I seriously doubt he even bothered to find a location where he could do the deed, like a hotel or his home. I think he killed them in his car, dumped them from the car like trash, then went on his merry way.

So what you are saying plays right into my theory that someone else killed the GB4 but then turned to the one person they knoew who had the reputation for being so extremely helpful. Every person has their price. We now know that CPH has the stomach for being around/handling corpses. He also has the police background to know how to remove all evidence. He could be the guy people call "off the record" to help fix situations that have gone bad. That would explain how he's right smack in the middle of SG's case too.

yep...lol, I'm old & tired...I was even going to add more....lol

forgot to say that several of the Halsey Manor residents own horses or are farriers...don't know if burlap might fit into that hobby somewhere or not.

was rereading about that 1st 2000 Manorville victim....her body was found by a "trio of hunters" who were pheasant hunting per the news article. I've read where many bird hunters use burlap to cover themselves out in the field...
