Knowing a couple of part-time working women, my inclination is to believe the boyfriend. It's VERY common for a john to become violent, especially with smaller women. The scam is certainly possible and does happen as well, though.

I would generally agree, carbuff, however after reading through a number of threads on that extremely NSFW review site mentioned in the article, I do think they were running a robbery scam.

I have a question for those that have researched johns, escort review websites, and the vics....Especially for those johns that have been mentioned here and in the news, has anyone been able to cross reference or find those same screen names on review sites that are not in long island? Say, NJ, Manhattan, anywhere else? My thinking behind this is that while the SK may be familiar and comfortable in LI, myself and a few others here think he could be a traveler, at least in the tri state area. And I'm willing to bet he used escorts elsewhere too. Anyway, just a thought and question I had

I got a tip from a friend today about searching web site from years ago. He said there are search engines on line where you can search old web pages that no longer exist. I don't know if I am allowed to post the site name on here. So ask me in a private message and I can give you the site name. I would do it myself tonight, but I'm at work and cannot search any "risque'" web pages. My thought was to look up the original CL posts by the known victims. It seems they have been removed by CL. My friend told me some of the web pages can go back as far as the late 90's. It could be a useful tool.

If ALC went on a $1500 outcall wearing a hoodie and jeans, maybe the SK is posing as a 'movie maker' and that is why she did not need any sexy clothing - it would be provided on the set of the movie. When I get back latter, I will sleuth "porn movie production' ads. That makes perfect sense, because the SK could even get them into "compromising/dangerous" positions, i.e. being tied up with a ligature around their necks and tell them it is part of the movie plot. I have suspected he has video taped his crimes for a while, but only now thought about the whole thing being a ruse for the girl to be a "movie star".

That point has made me wonder about the circumstances of their leaving. As in could they have been forced to leave under the control of someone else? Or possibly could they have been drugged?

To me a cell phone has become almost a part of the average persons identity. You not only carry the phone with you when you leave the location, you carry it with you as you move from room to room in a home. With a working woman it is more, that phone is not only a social identity symbol, it is her source of contact for business, and her safety net. So leaving the phone, to me that wouldn't be done willingly. Not even for money or to be "nice." She might agree to turn it off, but I don't see her agreeing willingly to leave it behind.

The more money than usual. To me that indicates that the john had asked for more than the usual service. More time, more activity, more unusual than the regular sex services, more violent, more disgusting, more something. It could also be something of a test for the girl. She is asked to do something out of her usual services. Maybe something violent or disgusting. She says no, then is offered more money. If she takes it, then that kinda helps to justify what will happen to her. After all, she is willing to do anything for money.

I've heard somewhere that it is believed that some of the remains may have been skeletons when they were disposed of that made me start thinking of this. I'm thinking of the sex slave stories we've heard. You know, caged in a dungeon as a sex slave for years, then after they die they have to be disposed of sort of thing?

no...I bet this guy was very upset with himself the first time he flew over the edge and killed a girl, after that..it was just a bad habit...a dirty little secret..something to plan for...so he doesn't get in trouble...probably tells himself he will quit..

I'm guessing your friend is talking about the wayback machine (archive.org), which is not a pr0n site, so it is well within the posting guidelines. As for using the wayback machine to try to find old CL ads related to this case? Good luck. They only archive sites a few times a month, CL content changes fast, and dep upon when these women posted their ads, and when they archived the site, it's totally hit and miss. That said, a number of the old CL ads have been archived and are still up at the extremely NSFW review site that is mentioned in the "revenge" article. Which is a members only site. So, should you (or anyone else, for that matter), choose to register to take a look see on that site, I would strongly urge you to:

• use a proxy or vpn
• use a throwaway em addy
• *do not* fill in the profile
• *do not* post any messages to (or pm any members on) that site. even if you have a burning question that you feel must be asked

Minazoe, ALC was close to her sister, so I don't get how her sister, or ALC's "boyfriend" did not know where she was going that night. Especially for a gig that was paying $1500.00!!!! That is huge!! Why would ALC not have told either her sister or her boyfriend something along the lines of "Hey, this high-roller from [insert place - like Long Island] contacted me for a private party, and wants me to just wear jeans and a hoodie, and he is going to pay me $1500.00!!!!" It also does not make sense to me that the John came to her home to pick her up??? WTH???? Why didn't ALC use a driver? Even without the answers to those questions, I want to know why she was NOT REPORTED AS MISSING!!!! That is HUGELY important to this case IMHO. I am beginning to sense something a lot deeper than just a SK randomly picking girls from Craigslist for this crime. I don't know what it is yet.... but something doesn't feel right with the stories we have been getting from many of the peripheral people involved in this case. In the Pickton case in Canada, many of the victims were not reported missing until after the outcry about the missing prostitutes. Some who were reported as possible victims, later showed up alive. They had relocated and just didn't let family and friends know. Because of the transient lifestyle, that was a major problem in even trying to identify how many possible victims that Pickton had and in identifying the victims.

Maybe they will be in contact with family and friends at times, but they might also take off at times and be gone for months. They may change friends according to who has more 'opportunities.' They may change boyfriends and get caught up in his lifestyle, and not contact family until/unless they breakup with the boyrfriend. They may decide they are tired of an area and move to another and not tell anyone.

Knowing the women's lifestyle and how it is viewed socially, some victims families may feel that it is useless to report a missing prostitute because they feel the authorities won't listen to them anyway. Some of the families were dysfunctional to begin with, and they just don't pay attention to someone going missing.

So I don't know why this person's family didn't report her missing, but it could be one of many reasons.

Gary Michael Heidnik is who I was thinking of in 1987. Warning, you do not want to get into details of his crimes unless you have an extremely strong stomach! Some of the details are in links on this site. He was found with 4 women in his dungeon, two had died previously during his torture.

I agree, something critical is being left out of all these stories. I wouldn't be surprised if LE asked the family members and friends to keep quiet on certain details of the last nights these woman were seen. Everything has been so hush-hush in this case. LE doesn't seem to want the public to have any information right now.

Now that I think about it, what has LE told us so far, officially? They told us that remains were found. The told us the IDs of the first four women found. They love to tell us about how thoroughly they're searching for more remains. And they told us we shouldn't be alarmed.

I understand that it's a delicate process. I know they have to keep some of their cards close to the chest to maintain the integrity of the investigation, but I'm getting really frustrated by the lack of facts in this case. And judging by the tone of this board lately, I think everyone is starting to feel that way.

I don't believe her sister was there when she got picked up, I think her roommate was though.
