Escorts, strippers, etc. OC sits on the eastern shore coast and is pretty far away from Balto. and Harford County. Baltimore is very high crime with murders daily. I'm not sure LE in Balto. would even know if there was a serial killer on the loose. A lot of crack heads there.

Hi Evelyn, ITA. I know Webcams work differently than regular cameras. Regular cameras work on motion. Webcams are either continual or timed images.

I wasn't trying to be fussy about it, but I wanted people to know that from my experience the live feed DOT cameras set up to monitor traffic patterns and crowd congestion do not record and archive anything. Maybe the SK knew this too?

I think the LE would have better luck looking at security video from local businesses around the areas in which SK called Melissa's sister, because some businesses do archive their security camera feed. The only problem is that there are so many people in midtown all hours of the day and night, it would be like looking for the proverbial needle in a haystack.

The skull really has me wondering. Did SK decide to turn off the main road for some reason? Was he trying to be more cautious? Perhaps he had to dump a body at 6 a.m., when there is more traffic on the main road. hmmmm

Hey all.....I've fallen way behind on the threads in just a days time but hopefully will get back up to speed soon. I ran across something that may not matter what-so-ever but want to link/post it anyway. It's an article that mentions the spacing of the AC victims.

Victim 1 was 148 feet from Victim 2 who was 90 feet away from Victim 3 who was 82 feet away from Victim 4.

I wonder now where that story of these AC victims being spaced an even 60' apart came from? Anyway....I wanted to post this info here because several people, including myself, felt that the victims in both AC & LI being spaced in a measured way might possibly link the cases.

I'm assuming the journalist's info is accurate.....seems like some odd numbers to just pull out of nowhere. Even though they weren't spaced equal distances....there's still a pattern there though.

That's possible Evelyn, I don't know how regular security cameras would work with constant motion like in NYC. Allot of the systems we install are verified video where the cams are set to record on motion during certain hours when the businesses are closed. They trip a line to the monitoring station and then it goes right to the local police. I'm sure they have it figured out tho where there is almost constant motion. We catch a lot of burglars in fenced off car lots. lol

On NG tonight the reporter in the field said the weather had turned very bad and rain was expected. She also said they would be back searching as soon as weather allowed, probably some time tomoz. She pointed out that it is difficult for dogs to search in wet weather.

I do think there is something to the distance thing but maybe not as exact as we might think.

I was thinking if he was trying to match GPS cords and his device is off by however much then that could explain some weirdness . I dont think he is out there with a tape measure but he may want them close together.

I think the first found victims will tell us much more then OBP will.

Although if your by chance are just dropping bodies off arround the same place ,they will be so many feet apart as thats the nature of it. Maybe there is a trial to somewhere important to him.

Do you think this guy is brave/stupid enough to try and retrieve some of the remains and dispose of them somewhere else in order to keep LE from finding anymore bodies? I wonder what he's thinking now his victims are being found, and I wonder if he's keeping his usual patterns by going to work etc.

So she was on drugs, completely imagined a threat, ran out of the house in a panic - but coincidentally, the REAL threat - no connection to the perceived one - was outside. Hmmm mmm. Right.

Women run around screaming about people trying to kill them for no reason all the time, don't they, especially in areas where multiple dead bodies turn up.

First of all I just want to say that you guys rock with all the investigating ya'll have done.

Secondly of all I really want to say that the bodies found in LI are from the same person that killed the ladies in AC, it was a thought I had before LE said they thought they might be connected.


Thirdly of all someone in the last thread mentioned something about the SK being in the military and that was one of the first things that came to my mind reading over the other threads, specifically someone in the Navy. My husband who is in the Navy will tell me stories of how some guys will hire prostitutes and get caught, they would also have odd hours and the days would vary depending on the command they were in. If they were stationed on a ship they would be gone X amount of months out of the year as well as having the odd weeks or weekends out to sea.

Question: Are there any Naval stations in the area?

Fourthly of all I don't think the SK has anything to do with SG's disappearance, I think the people she was with that night and early morning do but that is just me.

Fifthly of all I don't think the SK is liking all the media attention, if he wanted attention for the crimes he/she committed then they would have by now wrote a letter as to where to find the bodies either to the police or media. I do think the person was twisted enough to call family members as a way to hurt them, he might get off on that sort of thing.


These are just my thoughts and opinions as I don't think I am really any good at sleuthing out things.

I just want to say this entire thing has just angered me so much. It's disgusting. How many women have to go missing and die before their lives are taken seriously? Apparently about 8. Let's face it - if these women weren't prostitutes, their cases would have been taken much more seriously. Shannon's 911 call - it may have been incoherent or confusing, but I'm sure there was no mistaking the fact that she thought she was in danger. So they just dropped it? No follow up? Or a crappy one, anyway. According to the sister, they only came up with the 911 call 3 months later. I think that's outrageous. A women called for HELP, she actually was able to get through and call for help in a bad situation, and they didn't help her, at the time OR afterwards. And I think that is disgraceful. I am furious about that. Two of the women who were identified were killed AFTER Shannon went missing - how about that?!
Thank God the police chief or spokesperson or whoever it was (I've researched too much to go back & find out who that was) who is dealing with the newest part of the search finally got a little outraged by the whole thing and called the guy an animal today. It's about time there was a little public outrage by the LE. Enough of downplaying the whole thing, telling us certain people aren't suspects, saying the bodies might not be connected - (PUH LEASE! Give me a break!) And to read yesterday that they have issues with overtime?! They'd better find that money!
Those women's lives mattered, and it's horrible that so many can just go missing and nothing be done until it's unavoidable.
I saw Shannon's sister on Geraldo, and I just feel so terrible for her and her family. She is incredibly brave and an excellent advocate & spokesperson for her sister & family - very poised & well spoken for someone so young and in such a terrible situation. She should be proud of herself. I just pray there is still some way Shannon will return to them safe.
I wonder if the SK looks on sites like this one? If so, I hope he realizes the game's up for him, and he's going down soon. And it won't be pretty for him once he's caught. What a pathetic loser.
Sorry for the rant but I'm angry about all of this. I think it's all just terrible.
