You're right Hollye. She could have told the friend she felt like someone was following her or that she didn't feel at ease for some reason. That coupled with the length of time she was gone would certainly give me cause to contact her family and LE.

You statement coupled with this got my hinky on the rise.

I'm only making an assumption it was the boyfriend who said she went for a "normal" walk in the woods. Why would he say "normal" if she had only lived there with him for 4 days? Did she go for a walk every day? Why the need to interject the word "normal" if it indeed was him that made the statement?

this is saying her last name is woods?

ETA: I just called the news station who reported the abpve story. The state police made a mistake and her name is infact Lindsey Woods...so they have lost 24 hours searching for Lindsey T Brooks ! Gah

i got confused on that one, too.

His grandson is Woods' girlfriend. Chris said he saw brooks go for a walk by herself into the woods behind his house.

So HER family came to help them search but didn't know her name??? :waitasec:

Either way, I had wondered anyway... when looking at the possible my space's... there was only one I found that came close. When you look through this girl's pictures, you see a definite change in her...so it's hard to tell. But the distinctive features are all there even when she's pale, or not wearing make up, or looks skinnier.

These few on this page are really the only ones with make up on to compare to the one they released.

I don't do myspace and looking at the profile I was doing a little head scratching at the pictures.

I have no idea whose children are pictured, but if they are hers then what comes to mind is a jealous ex-boyfriend.

That Myspace has a different name spelling for Lindsey, it shows Lindsay. Wouldn't be surprised if your find was correct...

Officers say 25-year-old Lindsey Woods's body was found in the woods about 300 feet from the house she was staying at. Officers say there were no signs of foul play."

So now it was the boyfriend who called the police? I thought the earlier reports made it sound like it was a third party or girlfriend who reported her missing. And now the story is that she was going to go for a walk and shoot the gun a bit? The story is evolving....

I'm sorry that she was found in what now appears to be a suicide... but I am also glad this wasn't a missing person who needed to be looked for. It was a horrible situation of getting inaccurate information out. Wrong name, no picture... was she 25 or 16? Really... it isn't that hard to get these things right. If she had really been abducted it would have been really difficult to be looking for her with all the misinformation.
