For me, the words of LE flew out the window in April 2011 when they said that multiple serial killers were involved. Based on the little evidence we were privy to, how could they make that statement? Just because the Manorville victims and the Gilgo Beach victims were disposed of in "in-tact" and "decapitated" formats, does not necessarily mean it was two different serial killers, IMHO. The Manorville and Gilgo Beach murders were years apart! Serial killers DO evolve and DO change some of their methods of both murder, and body disposal. Then, in November(???) [recently = don't have the link right now], Dormer comes out and says it is the work of a single SK. I thought "Duh, Sherlock!!!" Unless Suffolk County LE are complete idiots, CPH can NOT be off of the hook because the crime(s) have not been solved, so it could be ANYONE! They were sure looking at him earlier this year according to this statement:

"According to multiple sources familiar with the investigation a number of persons are under investigation in connection with the first eight corpses, and those include persons of interest with a law enforcement or emergency service background, and familiarity with the beach."

Now who do we know in this saga that has an "emergency service background"??? And probably has a scanner in his home that was capable of hearing the chatter about the 911 calls that Shannon made that morning.

Hi Reannan, I just read somewhere on this forum how CPH has a woodblock kitchen table he not only uses to prepare food but also has been used to perform small surgeries like stitches. I can't find that anywhere now. Goin' :pcguru: lol That even goes a bit beyond working 'emergency services. IMO

.... Maybe if he got real thirsty he drank the water then asked for a cigarette and set fire to the paper cup in the trash bin to destroy the DNA he would have left behind...lol.....
:floorlaugh:

Well stated Truth!!! Your statement is the perfect example of why "WE", i.e. "Websleuthers" are different from the majority of criminals - we are not stupid! If this story is ever made into a movie, I am going to insist that you get the royalty fees for the part about CPH! Thanks for all of your hard work.

Hey Scandi! What?? You don't have a kitchen island that you use for surgery on your neighbors? BWHAHAH!!!! :floorlaugh: Me either!!! I guess if I had a prosthetic leg and climbed down ladders into collapsed water tanks to rescue victims, or rapelled down ladders from rescue helicopters into oily waters to rescue plain crash victims, I might consider adding a rescue-chopping block to my kitchen decor. :innocent: Guess I will just get up and brush my teeth with the rest of you slackers.

Where in the doctor's house is the kitchen with the island located?

Is it located on the main floor?

How many entry/exits points does the kitchen have?

Is the kitchen windowless?

Is the kitchen soundproof?

Does the doctor's house have a large chest freezer with a lock?

I have a very strong feeling that it is very possible that our SK has left Long Island and has been on a road trip. First through Detroit and now Oklahoma!

I have wondered the same thing Seaslug! Except I would think he travelled thru OK first and then up to Mich. based on the last seen dates of the victims.

The OK victim disappeared on/about 12-09 and IIRC the 1st pair of Mich victims were found on 12-19 and the second pair on/around 12-25.

I DO think this killer is mobile! And what's up with the groups of 4's? MOO

Oh, i dunno Seaslug ... pregnant mom of 3 selling herself on CL, but that's just a minor detail that hubby didn't bother sharing with LE? IMO, way too many red flags that smack of domestic in that case.

Now, what day did they start digging and found Shannon's personal items in the marsh? December 7th!!! What day did they find her remains?....hummm... December 13th!!! The timing sure does fit for a new wave of traveling attacks.

17 days since Gilbert's remains were found....

I'm really curious exactly what forensic tests they are still working on.

Toxicology with no tissue present definitely presents some hurdles.

I was wondering how many posters here think the perp is a sexual sadist?

I am sure they will have a Forensic Anthropologist examine all the bones of Shannan's they found. It is too high profile and allot might hinge on what they discover IMO I think forensic anthropology is more commonly known about today. The thrust of Dr Baden, Dr Werner Spitz and Dr Cyril Wecht into the spotlight with their testimony at trial and guesting on TV talk shows has brought the profession down home to the American people. It would not be unusual to call one in IMO.
