Family: Woman went missing after leaving for school
Bronx, New York City, New York -
A Bronx family is desperately searching for a woman who they say went missing after leaving for school Monday morning.
Maciel Ramirez, 19, was last seen on surveillance video leaving her Kingsbridge apartment around 7:30 a.m., presumably on her way to school, except that time was an hour before she usually heads out. A schoolmate and family friend say they saw Ramirez by a bus station on 181st Street around 8:30 a.m. Monday.
She never arrived at Kingsbridge International High School, and her family has not heard from her since.
Family members say Ramirez has never run away, and they don't think she had a reason to disappear.
