This is so, so sad to read. She was a beautiful young girl with her whole life ahead of her. :(

The suspect in this case, Luciano Frattolin has pleaded not guilty to charges of second-degree murder and concealment of a corpse, with his next court appearance scheduled for August 19, 2025.

Not true. Melina was due back home the day before her body was located.

We have a timeline here and know she was killed shortly after talking to her mother and before LR reported the fake abduction.

He's got someone in his corner supplying clothes. I'm assuming he didn't bring a suit and tie on vacation with his now-deceased daughter. Not going to impress the fine folks in Elizabethtown.

Mr. Big Shot looks like he's still concerned about his image when everyone else wants to know why he lied to police about his missing beautiful, young, trusting daughter later found dead. What motive could he possibly have had? I don't care what he's wearing. Want the truth from him.

Court records and acquaintances describe him as a dual citizen of Italy and Ethiopia with overseas business ventures, including a mining deal and a planned hotel project in Addis Ababa.

A former associate told The Gazette that Frattolin was known for his wealth and image-conscious lifestyle. “He never flew coach,” the man said. “He was one of the first people to bring a Porsche into Ethiopia.”​

The belt & bracelets really clash with his suit. Inmate orange is much more attractive with those accessories. I think this monstro-dad is really in for a shock that no one gives a 🤬🤬🤬🤬 about his money, his expensive cars & suits (the above looks more like off the rack Men’s Wherehouse than haute couture. And there will be no more 1st class or private planes, or 5 star hotels, he’s looking at economy class travel & no star motels from now on.

Quite the narcissist, it seems. Just another brilliant "savvy businessman" getting rich with other people's money. More bluster and salesmanship than skills or work ethic. Those types always fail, but not many take it out on their innocent young children. JMO

Narcissists don't like it when things don't go their way. They go into a crazy narcissistic rage. I am thinking, his daughter reminded him of her Mother, perhaps someone who didn't do what he said on demand. And his daughter was probably talking about being excited to go home.

They take everything personally, so..

And yeah, he ain't getting bail.
