21-Year-Old Missing Nearly A Week In Crown Heights: Cops | Prospect Heights, NY Patch

Police are asking the public's help to find a 21-year-old who has been missing in Crown Heights for nearly a week.

• Melynia Cecilio was last seen inside her home on Franklin Avenue around 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 13. A press release about her was put out late Wednesday.
• She lives in a building near Bergen Street, records show.
• Cecilio is approximately 5'7" tall and weighing 170 pounds.
• She has brown eyes, brown hair and was last seen wearing a gray coat, blue jeans, and black boots.

Her FB says she's married. Who saw her last in the home at 1pm? Does she have a car? Is it missing? Reporting to work, when was the last time someone saw her at work? When was she supposed to go to work? IMO

None of us here know Melynia but we all care that she is missing and we want her to be found safe and returned to her family.

The member you replied to was expressing an opinion after looking at Melynia's Facebook timeline. It is an outsider's perspective and our opinions will all differ.

Hopefully, Melynia is located soon but if not, we will need more information to theorize what has happened to her. There is very little to go on at this point.

I think her name is unique enough that it's probably her. She disappeared on Feb 13 and was arrested on Feb 14. Is she in custody or was let go and has since gone missing again?

They're still seeking donations to get a lawyer to help bring justice.?. If you search FB for "#BringSukihome" you'll find a post by H.N.L. that explains a bit more, but I'm still not sure what's going on.
