Interesting Reddit post about found remains on a Queens property. Unfortunately, the original news link seems to no longer go anywhere.

Found an article regarding this. So far, it seems no names have been released - only that they believe it was related to a murder at a barbershop. (as of March 2019)

His NamUs page is no longer accessible.

I'm Michael's sister. Namus will not publish on their site without a missing persons report. I've reached out to NYC FOIL for these records and his report is missing. I had been told that they lost many files in 9/11. My Dad passed in 1992 and I don't have that report, just the news article. Very frustrating. I just today got results from Investigative Genetic Genealogy Center at Ramapo College IGG Center with my DNA for Burlington John Doe. It was not a match. My DNA is now in file at GEDmatch. I won't give up. Thanks to all that keep this going forward!

Hi @Alfinito . Glad to have you here and very sorry for the circumstances that brought you here.
So, if I understand correctly, you brother is still missing but NamUs took down his profile because it lacked an official MP report? That's so frustrating! I would recommend reaching out to Doe Network and letting them know your brother is still missing so they can reinstate his profile. As far as I know they do not need an MP report, they often list cases where the source of information are family members. Here's the link to their site: Doe Network: International Center For Missing and Unidentified Persons
I am very happy to hear you have already gone the IGG path, I think is the best way to get definite answers and I hope you'll get them soon. Peace to you and yours.
