NY - mom held knife to terrified daughters' necks for Facebook 'joke'

Police in Syracuse, New York who responded to a terrified nine-year-old's call that her mom was trying to kill her and her five-year-old sister found the little girls screaming in a bedroom, last Sunday.

Mom Phylis Gary, 33, and boyfriend Ercell Morris, 37, explained they were just trying to scare the children 'like in a horror movie', so they could upload it to Facebook as a joke. Helpfully, Morris still had the footage of mom holding a large silver knife to the back of her five-year-old's neck.

Police didn’t find it especially funny, and they arrested Morris for two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, menacing in the second degree, and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree. Gary was arrested and charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. CPS was also called.

I'm just guessing, but I bet some type of illicit drug is involved in this. Like those jerks (being kind) who gave the 3-year-old baby meth to "see what he would do". What he did was die.
