Attached is a photo of the alleged perpetrator pulling the duffle bag with the victim down the street - from this article: Queens mother found dead inside duffel bag | PIX11

MOO What a grusome sight. Thank goodness for doorbell cameras.

Whatever was this person thinking???

Please let LE find this killer asap.

I wonder how well he was known by victim?

Feel truly awful for family. Son being home... Cannot imagine. MOO

Why not just leave the body where the victim was murdered and focus on getting out of the area?

Why risk being caught on camera in a residential neighborhood only to discard the bag with a body inside where it would be quickly discovered by morning as people are walking dogs and are out and about?

Possibly knowledge of the young teen in the home and not wanting him to discover his mother murdered.

A very unusual and disturbing case. An extraordinarily odd/panicked/desperate attempt to dispose of this lady's body and create a distance between her and the home. If it's dark no-one can see me. Surely no-one would do this unless they did not have access to a car or could not drive.
I don't ever recall another case of a visitor to the house committing a murder and, dismembering the victim (if that is the case here), and removing the body, while there is a relative in the house. I suppose it could happen in a large house. Hopefully there are lots of cameras and the police can see where the person who dragged the bag goes after that.

I feel sorry for the 13 year old son. They took him in for questioning; saw a mention of him being handcuffed.

Can you imagine? He's at home, maybe still asleep or not downstairs yet, gets hauled in in handcuffs while his mom is dead and his dad and brother are out of town.

It must be horribly distressing for the family but especially for the 13 year old.

seems some of the soueces/links are a bit all over the place

one has the guy who found the duffle bag as saying he saw the body in the fetal position in the duffle bag when he opened it, another says she was dismembered?

They really are. This article says that the dad and one of the sons have been declared POI's of the case: Dismembered body of a woman is found in blood-soaked duffel bag on the street in Queens | Daily Mail Online and this article states that a man she went out with the night before the killing is a POI so IDK which is which: Queens mother found dead inside duffel bag | PIX11

If the "police source" about the text message to father is accurate, why leave a family member alive in the home knowing the father is out of town (his twitter posts)?

By removing the body, her identify was swiftly discovered since the duffel bag leaked a trail of blood to the side door of the home.

Extremely creepy, but does anyone think it almost seems over-dramatic?
Yes. I do. Whoever coined the term hinky meter...mine is pegged out.

If the dad was texted, what number did it come from? And when?

Like the perp watched too many movies and is really new at this sort of thing.

IMO, a very disorganized and sloppy killer.

I’ll confess that if this is all for real, it reminds me of the person who allegedly murdered Cash Gernon—not that I have any doubts. (Little boy grabbed out of his crib, murdered, and dropped on the street.)

IMO, who would care enough to spare the 13 year old from finding his mom butchered? Definitely someone who knows and cares about the kid. MOO.
