Orsolya Gaal’s hubby, Howard Klein, called 911 around 7:21 a.m. May 29, 2020, to report his wife missing, telling cops she went for a walk around 12:30 a.m. and hadn’t returned, sources told The Post.

Klein, 53, told the emergency operator his wife wasn’t in their Juno Street house in Queens when he woke up that morning, sources said. Then he called back about 30 minutes later to say she’d been found, sources said.

Just read that she was alone at a bar for 40 minutes - perhaps waiting for someone - then left and went home. Murdered on the first floor, then taken down to the basement. This just gets weirder and weirder. Why take the body to the basement, only to drag it back upstairs and out the door?

Maybe she fell down the stairs, and the initial plan was to remove her from the home, so she had to be dragged back up? Just pondering, IMO. Otherwise yes, that does seem really strange.

IF that is true, perhaps she was moved because the perp knew they were not alone in the house and that L was upstairs on the top floor and wanted to put distance between L and the body while perp cleaned theirself up or looked for something of interest (whatever was tucked under their arm on exit maybe).

I can't get past the dragging the body away from the home tho. It just makes zero logical sense. If you kill someone to intimidate or terrify another or others, you leave the body there for them to find. You don't kill someone, drag their body off in a very high risk way and then use their phone to send threats to others. It just doesn't track.

That was my thought. I think they knew he was home and moved to the bottom floor in case it got loud and he woke up.

Are we sure she was taken back up stairs after she was in the basement. Could the basement have had access to outdoors?

As it seems like the investigation is focused on men that had interactions with the victim, I am relieved that we are no longer focused on her kids. While we don't know the connection/relationship between her killer (might be male or female) and her/her family, I am sure that unpacking the life of these people is very difficult and revealing to LE. I am waiting to hear the ins and outs of the connection like all of you. I am concerned that like many murder investigations that are not easily solved or straightforward we will be in for a period of judgment of the victim. Regardless of what was going on in her life, this woman did not deserve to die in this way, at this time for any reason. I hope she does not get dragged through the mud. I know this doesn't really need to be said here but I felt compelled. JMHO

I think the killer was trying to make it into the park and gave up for one reason or another. So close to the entrance!

Absolutely agree, by the amount offered and how quickly it has been offered, it looks like a token gesture and that they are not too worried about finding other suspects.

The context of her 2020 disappearance for some seven hours leads me to wonder if there are things about this couple's private lives that we are not privy to.

Hrmph … I guess maybe all LE released was the one screengrab & the full vid came from someone else ?

if LE wanted that pic out but not the vid MOO they are not in need of the public’s help IDing the person. JMO it’s like they chose the least representative frame from the whole vid

Seems curious that the 13 year old was home to speak with OG about her plans for the evening, then he went upstairs and didn’t hear or see anything through the whole timeline of her murder on the first floor and dragging to the basement. Would the son not have come downstairs, found Mom not home and become concerned by her absence and at least alerted his dad? This must have been a very quiet murder inside the home, perhaps the son had on earphones that muted the event totally, or maybe he just stays to himself in his room for long periods such that he legitimately would not see blood droplets, hear movement, screaming, confrontation or whatever exactly occurred.

He may simply take pleasure in inflicting all types of pain. In the case of texting her husband, inflicting psychological fear and emotional terror in him

I am curious not only what evidence was found in the residence, but what is missing. I suspect that the bag and weapon were in the home and not brought to the residence by the killer. I also suspect the very oversized hoodie looking thing being worn by the perp came from inside the home and was probably just used to cover up bloodied clothing and to further conceal identity from the casual observer.
