That really is weird Stan...........what the heck????? Isn't there a game or something young kids play, around 12 yrs old called passout or something weird like that? They get a rush from trying to hang themselves? I seen it on Dateline or 20/20. But certainly not the 6 yr old. To young for that.

I don't understand how a 6 yr old could hang himself on a door knob? Look at your door knobs most 6 yr olds are about the height of a door knob. Just don't get it! :doh:

It's usually called "The Choking Game". Apparently you get really high right before you pass out. Except... when you do it alone and pass out, no one can release the pressure from your neck. So they end up suffocating, all for a brief high.

In re-reading the article, I wonder about the use of the word "family". In that, it may mean a broader sense of the word beyond just the one woman's offspring. Since grandpa was the only one home, the mother couldn't be implicated. I hope there's still an investigation - but if "family" means extended family, then it's much less suspicious.
