"Skeletal remains of an adult asian male were found alongside tracks for the Long Island Rail Road. This section of Queens is home to a large Korean community. Based on the preservation of the remains and the manufacture date of a shoe found on the decedent, the date of death is estimated to be between 1999 and 2005."

There are 2, one of which is a woman (this is a missing married couple though so I don’t know if this means anything or investigators just wanted to cover their bases):

Based on the pants measurements and estimated height, it looks like he would have been a pretty average weight-- Of course, the pants could have fit him poorly and every person carries weight differently, but the pants measurements are pretty standard for a man of his height.

Here are two potential matches, though neither are very strong.

John Bui Tran, lived a few hours away but was interest in film which may have brought him to New York. His face shape/size is similar to the reconstruction but his age doesn't quite match. The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)

Ping Huang, a tourist that went missing with his luggage in California. A bit of a stretch, due to the distance, but if he was looking to live in the US he might have aimed for a big-name city like New York. Face isn't very similar though.
