Could this be MP53303 Jeffrey Edward Riddle – The Charley Project who was a transient who went missing in Florida in early 2017. Could he have relocated to NY (information is scant, including no details on who reported him missing or any family connections to other states).

Based on this photo published in the NY Post, it appears the car was not driven into a ditch from the expressway as the body had to be hoisted over the concrete barrier. The NY Post says the car was found on Northern Boulevard and Prince Street, near the Van Wyck Expressway, but when I look on Google street view, I can't find anywhere that looks remotely similar to the photo taken at the scene.

Who did the car belong to? I imagine it wasn't registered to the victim since he is still unidentified. Was it stolen? Why not release a description of the vehicle?
