Does anyone recall anything official about a receipt at the scrap yard???? I don't want to post incorrectly, but I truly don't recall this being official. Only minimnal transaction, cameras not working, etc.

Thanks all!

The only info we have is from, of course, IM. She states transaction was "minimal". This is all we have.

How she knows it was minimal, is of course, a mystery. No receipt was ever mentioned. So how this is confirmed is beyond me, besides from the words of IM. Whether they are relying on the word of the employee or actually have some sort of substantial proof is not meant for us to know.

I have asked many times, was there a detailed, time stamped receipt .....and no one can seem to help.

OK, so I'm not going crazy!!!!!! Thank God for that, LOL.

Hmmmm she says the transaction was minimal, She says the red car was abandoned and by an electrician.
Has she said anything about the bike she called about that was found listed on craigslist?

As for the car that was left by another electrician, it was stated that he was homeless and had been interviewed by LE. By IM and others involved in the search efforts

Good work!!!! I'm still not convinced there's a receipt. And the CUE page is information provided by the family, I believe. Its been stated since RM was missing two weeks that he was last seen at the scrap yard, but there is no visual evidence (cameras not working that day), no public interviews, etc. IM was told to check the scrap yard two weeks after RM went missing by his fellow co-workers. This is in the FAQ sheet too. Scrap yard was looked at in Late June.

maybe "minimal transaction" and receipt are closely connected---I would think that a minimal transaction means less criteria. Maybe for a small transaction, the requirement is to list the date and dollar figure taken from the cash drawer----no name would be required.

I take minimal transaction to mean minimal dollar amount. I'm hung up on the receipt because it would be physical proof RM was at scrap yard. I'm still not convinced he was there. And anyway, what would a produced receipt prove anyway? If not signed by the person, like a credit card receipt, any receipt could be pulled out of a drawer and said to be his. ARGHHHHHH......

I, also, thought there was mention of a receipt for minimal transaction.
IMO if the scrap yard was suspect...LE would be all over it. And they may be...
It may just not be information they can share.

I believe IM said he is/was unshaven---would have to waaaaaay back and read--it may be on the poster

I believe the 'Unshaven' thing has to do with the possibility RM could be disoriented, wandering the streets or in a shelter and not having access to a razor, etc. for several days (now months). Not that he was growing a beard. IMO, if he was actually growing a beard, it would have been stated very clearly as such.

So is this case being investigated then? From how I interpret your above statement, LE is not really doing much? Or are they doing all they can, which is limited?

It is really eye opening how unsafe we are as citizens, really bothers me. I am lucky in that I have never had to go through this horrible experience, and hope the family gets some word soon. I know we all go on and on here, but a family is hurting, and missing a loved one.

I think LE is doing what they can when required. It sounds like they have vetted everything, including the scrap yard. There isn't a MSM link to back it up but I am 100% confident that LE interviewed the owner of the scrap yard and confirmed RM was there and made the transaction. Receipt or no receipt. There would be no reason for the owner or IM to lie about it.

you just me reminded Force Ten---with RM possibly being "disoriented"--- did we ever get any info regarding medication, mental health issue?? All that was said initially was that he gets headaches.

Thank you. And I am by no means saying IM has lied, only that so much time passed between June 14 and late June when the scrap yard discovery was made. It is one of the few details that keeps sticking out at me.

IM said it----I believe her first interview or first information she provided.
