But, in my opinion, that phone had to be discovered, so if it were thrown into a river, sewer, dumpster, etc, it might not have been found.
And as it was, it was found in the garage. And also i the garage was the money and the wallet.
So whoever put the phone there, whether it was RM or someone else, they wanted it to be discovered. Once you find One thing in that garage, you keep looking, then you find something, else and you keep looking, so those items were Meant to be discovered.
MOO.

Exactly....he wanted her to know IMO ....I'm gone here's the money ...here's the phone...and you'll find the car where I don't care about it anymore

I said a "perp" would not leave it in the garage. Maybe I misunderstood what you meant.

And the other things that are in common with that garage, are his car and that bike.
The garage has meaning somehow......

ok.
reference to HITCHCOCK - he's a famous movie director of really psychologically sly films. Scary psychological films.

the phone was left in the drawer in the garage - and it was TURNED OFF.

If he wanted to be DIRECT to his wife
he would have left his phone on the kitchen counter....
then she would have said....oh - he came home....and ran out for an errand
(or something)

But the phone was (again - think HITCHCOCK) hidden in a drawer in the garage.
so it was h-i-d-d-e-n.
AND TURNED OFF.

So when the wife called it - it went..(i guess.. to voicemail?) or no where
so that is a
p-s-y-c-h-o-l-o-g-i-c-a-l-l-y CRUEL thing....to do to someone.!!!!

That $300 could not have been money he got at the scrapyard that day. IMO you could not fit that much scrap in the trunk of your GTO.
I see the leaving of the wallet, money and phone as a big giant I'm outta here.

Reporter came back! Yea!

And as far as no luggage being missing... Really, if someone's leaving, a garbage bag with whatever belongings he needed would work as "luggage". Or a grown man is likely able to go to a store and buy himself a duffle bag or something.

See that is what I was thinking too as far as the scrap... could it have just been his regular drawer that he threw the money into every time he went to scrapyard? Not all money from same day?

There could be several ways to look at this.
If it was a perp, then it was a perp very familiar with the house.
What would that perp gain?
If it was RM, what would he gain?
If RM had help, what would they gain?
Those items were an impetus in getting noticed, as those items had to be found in the garage.
There were reasons behind it. If the perp is someone that RM knows, then having the phone, money and wallet being discovered is key.
If it was RM then he wanted IM to find these items.
If it was someone he knew that helped him, then it was part of the fabrication to get those items noticed.
What is the motivational factor for these ? Why?
So it could be any or all of these really.
Maybe RM wanted to get away. Maybe he had help. Maybe someone was after him. Who knows.
I have several opinions and I don't always think it is just one way all the time, so I express several scenarios of what could have happened.

IMOO.

all I can say without more info at this point is, I still believe someone else was involved. On the fence as to whether RM was a willing participant but until I knew for sure, I would have my kids stay with family, friends, anywhere but that house!

I'm still on the fence and I think someone else could have been involved. It could be foul play too.

That guy on FB is brave...he posted his questions again, lol

has very logical questions.

SHE has asked the media to be involved - repeatedly

now she's GOT media asking questions.

It's about time for a press conference.... with her attorney standing
next to her....
Isn't that the usual way these things get done?

It was confirm by the faq sheet on fb...Ida said it was 300 and Arrow Scrap confirmed he brought that in

What time frame was the money found when it was found in the garage? Was it around the same time or day the wallet was found? When exactly was the phone found?

Wallet was found at 4pm the day he went missing, I believe the phone and money were found at seperate times, during a search

I am wondering if the garage could have been RM's "Mancave" ?
Maybe he knew IM would search there and he felt his privacy would be breached for whatever reason. Maybe he did take off?
IMOO.

A lead is something based on evidence. In a REAL investigation, one has very few true leads. One may have interesting people to talk to, but, it doesn't become a lead until it "LEADS" to something.

The FAQ posted on his page reads that a neighbor’s camera had spotted something "red" by driveway on the 14th. The "red" was assumed to be Rob's car; seen approximately at 2:41pm and then again (pulling out of driveway) at 2:51pm. Document also says that his phone was shut off at 2:45.
So the phone was shut off while something "red", assumed to be Rob's car was parked by the driveway.

Did they park the cars in the garage?
