Wallet was found at 4pm the day he went missing, I believe the phone and money were found at seperate times, during a search

Approximately a week later, the garage was thoroughly checked and Rob's cell phone was found in another drawer. It was turned off.

I'm getting the sense that based on the new info that the majority of people here think that Rob left. What perp would take the chance of being at the house? The perp would discard the phone. Only Rob would have taken care to turn it off and leave it. The $300 symbolizes this or that. The whole picture symbolizes a big f*** you from Rob to Ida.

Well, LE and Ida have been aware of these facts since week one. We've only just become aware. Why are the searches STILL taking place? We aren't searching and scouring neighboring towns. We are searching the Edgewood Preserve where Ida FEELS is the place to look. We just got new facts. There are more. If evidence conclusively pointed to Rob taking off, the searches would be called off. They wouldn't be allowed to utilize SAR without good cause. Just like these facts were held back, there could be more. Now I'm more curious about the delay with the forensics on the car. IMO we still have a few chapters left
in this story.

There could be several ways to look at this.
If it was a perp, then it was a perp very familiar with the house.
What would that perp gain?
If it was RM, what would he gain?
If RM had help, what would they gain?
Those items were an impetus in getting noticed, as those items had to be found in the garage.
There were reasons behind it. If the perp is someone that RM knows, then having the phone, money and wallet being discovered is key.
If it was RM then he wanted IM to find these items.
If it was someone he knew that helped him, then it was part of the fabrication to get those items noticed.
What is the motivational factor for these ? Why?
So it could be any or all of these really.
Maybe RM wanted to get away. Maybe he had help. Maybe someone was after him. Who knows.
I have several opinions and I don't always think it is just one way all the time, so I express several scenarios of what could have happened.

IMOO.

What crime was being perpetrated in your opinion?

I am beginning to wonder if Rob had suicidal thoughts and his wife knows this, and that is why she is wanting certain places searched. JMO

I haven't a clue. But that doesn't mean that a crime did not occur..... as well, it doesn't mean a crime has occurred.

I am not thinking Rob took off on his own. as I have stated numberous times, I think someone else was involved. Do I think it is possible he went willingly? Absolutely! Do I believe that is the case? no. I think there is something crucial everyone is missing about the 3 items being in different places. Hidden meaning? Not my thinking. Planned to be found? Maybe. But no mysterious hidden meanings. Of course I could be wrong..... nothing In this case is Absolute or clear... one thing I am convinced of is that LE knows more than they can reveal still.

I posted this thought a while back as well. Quite possible.

I hope not. Any senario is bad for the kids, however, this would be the worst senario IMO

a few things confuse me about ALL of this new information. first being that we're told LE wouldn't allow the information to be shared, yet...

1.) the NAMUS sight has always said the last sighting was leaving the driveway.

2.) IM originally admitted the phone was found, then retracted info AND once stated that she still called the phone, in hopes SOMEONE would answer, but would get sen to voicemail and would be happy just getting to hear his voice again.

in my opinion theres a difference between "withholding" information and straight up LYING! if IM wasn't allowed to discuss the phone... she SHOULDN'T have discussed it. why claim to still call it hoping for an answer when you KNOW yourself or LE have the phone?

why would LE withhold information of him being at home, but allow it to remain on the NAMUS site?

and why after knowing he made it home after the scrap yard, would IM even mention the scrap yard in the media? she allowed people to accuse that business of everything from illegal/shady practices to MURDER.

my opinion of RM has always been that he left voluntarily . I know I'm not allowed to sleuth IM, but I'm finding it more and more difficult to feel sorry for her. and I'm starting to think I might be able to understand his reason for leaving.

Thank you. You said everyything i was thinking...way better than i could have said it. The dishonesty may cause her to lose support that she so badly needs.

Since I am new to the thread, I did not know of that dishonesty about the phone, so now I know, which yes, I can see that she could lose supporters.
So what was the motivation to lie about the phone?
To make the public think he would answer, and to make the public aware she wanted to hear his voice??
This case is strange!

...it has always been my gut feeling that he wanted to get away...and maybe if we knew his situation, we wouldn't blame him. I don't know.

Arrow has an ATM machine on their premises. When a transaction is made they give you a card, like a credit card that gets inserted into the machine for cash. I just read the updated report on this case this afternoon that the police say, it was okay to release. Some things are not making sense at all as a whole different version was told from the beginning. Am I the only one who is perplexed by this case??????

I think he changed his clothes in the garage. He took the money out of his work pants and left it wherever he put it down, changed into his leaving clothes, took his old clothes and away he went.

Because LE was monitoring the phone to see if there were any incoming calls, they didn't want a possible perp to know it was found.

Great minds think alike! Thank You! I think he had stuff stashed there and that's why the seat was up....money was found in a drawer but I think he meant to leave it...I think he has his tools with him

So IM knew that LE had the phone, but she wanted the public to think something else. Does that mean then IM thinks there is a perp, or that LE thinks there could be a perp??

could it be possible that LE is monitoring that fb page?
and checking out IP addresses?

and
oh gasp - even THIS page?

I'm wondering if he took off because of something he was doing illegal and he didn't want to go to jail.
