Lots of thunderstorms and heavy rains have been coming through the area in the last couple of weeks, so paper gets pretty nasty in no time. The posters need to be laminated or in plastic. No need to put one on every pole too, IMO.

I think local businesses would want to assist, but, from what i have read
On a former search site..many were unwilling to post flyers at their shops.
I hope the gas stations and 7-11's agreed to help.

I understand the speculation and all but didn't the articles state HE wanted her to pick up the expensive seafood? I am sick of seeing all of the talk about lobster, TBH. It makes me hungry.

You are right! I take that back!
From now on...no food visuals from me.
Although, i still think $$$may have been an issue.
IMO

I hope that's not the case either. That would be very creepy if they were taken down on purpose.
Everything is just quiet now and maybe people just aren't putting up as many flyers as before. I haven't seen one though. Like I said I wish I could put them up myself here in Commack, Northport,Smithtown etc.

I think the weather is responsible. Yet, someone from the railway could be removing them too, because they end up as litter. They are too flimsy for outdoors, unfortunately. I also wonder if there is a rule about posting stuff on the platform?

Rob's flier was up in my place of business from the beginning up until about 2 weeks ago. We've been moving some things around. I will put it back up when we are done.

The franchises probably have corporate rules--just guessing. Although, some businesses have bulletin boards where people can post business cards, items for sale, etc. One time I saw a missing persons poster too. This was in my local supermarket. I imagine these businesses get a lot of requests from people with lost pets, community events, charities, etc. Seems to me they just draw the line sometimes.

Just a thought . . No facts

I think it was from the private thread. I can't even find it at all. How are you accessing it? What is the name of the thread?

It's in thread # 6
The one before this one.
The verified insider posted.
August 29th you have to scroll to the page but its post 848

I think he did more at the house than just leave his wallet, cell and money. Clearly, IM took forever to figure out his bike was missing and find the stuff he left so who knows what else could be missing. She may know and not be saying as well.

Oh I think she knows what he took .....this is why she reported him missing so she gets it back

I think there was bad weather a few days after they went there.

The ones by my house are wrapped with that clear tape around poles but only yard sales or missing pets and yes some are laminated. They stay up forever unless someone removes them to replace them with other flyers.

Care to share?

Personally I think they had money in a safe in the house I think he took money and possibly passport As I sees it he ain't coming back and she can't report the money missing sooooooo she says her husband is missing

  • #512
Another thing I believe she thought by reporting him missing he wod have run right back home. But he didn't now she is between that rock and hard place jmo

  • #513
If he is really and truly missing, his wife should try to arrange a press conference, or ask a friend to do it. Seems like the awareness even locally is minimal.

  • #514
I sure hope you are all correct in this voluntary take the money + run theory.
:great: :toastred: :jumping:

JMO I'm not buying it. :escape:

Okay, again...

You can refer to NCNY's posts, you can respectfully agree or disagree. You cannot talk about why he isn't posting anymore.

For those who may have missed it, he did come back last week but only to answer some questions in the Parking Lot. Since most of it referred to both FB pages, it was pulled. It has not been deleted but only mods/admins can see it.

Stop bickering and move on...

I'm observing this thread has transitioned to most everyone thinking he left voluntarily. IMO any other outcome is just too unbelievable, HBO series-like.

I'm again embarrassed to admit I have some pretty crazy friends who have in fact made me come with them while we staked out their significant other or used my car to throw the other person off. My earlier theory had a problem with the cars but until I hear additional info, I think she saw him when he came home. "10 minutes" because they fought immediately and one of them left in the GTO.

Well the "info" we have says that a car with a red top drove into RM's driveway and stayed for about 10 minutes and left

a couple of minutes later you see IM's car arrive

so if we can believe that it was on sec cam then they didn't fight in person that day...she says she never saw him come home and the police told her that a neighbor turned in the information that RM's car had been at home a week later and that's when they supposedly searched the garage

I have also wondered why there was no candlelight vigils.
Why not pray and hold it by their church? Seems they have a big following,
It would have attracted more media attention. IDK.

LE is not spending another dime on this because it was a voluntary exit if no crime was committed. The public is being used as a free MANHUNT. Very clever on the part of the hunter.

YA know what I find odd is that they waited a week to look at it. I'd be like omg lets go see if we have anything on our cam. Wouldn't you if your neighbor went missing
