Ok, great. So, with knowing these things, it seems like IM was a smart business woman. I am in the legal field and deal with these things all the time. It looks to me as if she planned very well for the future.

Of course, I could be wrong LOL

Sassimiz---good--- will toss my question (sorry guys--I am a little OCD today) about search warrants and garages------The Mayer house has an attached garage-----but could it be construed as part of the house??
Alot seems to have happened in the garage in that the cash, phone and wallet were found there-would a search warrant for garage cover the whole house? Or would another be needed b/c the garage is not living space as a house is?

I like the BBQ and their kitchen (how I fixate--apologies) is lovely

I like the baby grand piano I know she is a music teacher but that piano is just georgeous.

Remember the show dynasty! LOL I heard that music when I saw pics of their house!

With all this NEW information, I don't know whether to laugh, or shake my head.....
I feel PLAYED......
IMOO.

And I thought "the items" (no jazz hands) were found in the garage (which is turning into a place as creepy as the basement in American Horror Story) not in the house itself---altho article says "home" was searched -- you guys get my point.

I do not think LE searched her home. I think She searched the home and Do we know if LE has the car at all?

Obviouslay Robert didn't delete his text messages if His wife could read them otherwise she would have to go to his employer for phone records right? Employers phone correct?

Thanks ForceTen---- I think we can all posit a jump thought from that snippet of the article.

Thing is he still has a union card right?
If he moves elsewhere he can still work use union card and collect benefits right?

Machine or no machine, it is not like he was going to die or stop breathing without it.

You can ForceTen---depending on how bad the sleep apnea is. Mr C was stopping breathing during the night before he was diagnosed. And it can be very taxing on the heart as well to not breathe properly. I can only speak from Mr C and my dad and m-i-l, of course RM's case could be different.

Clipped from the link i provided a couple of posts up "The overall risk of death during the study period was 3.2 times higher among those with severe sleep apnea compared with those without sleep apnea at baseline, after adjusting for other risk factors such as age, sex, and*body mass index."

Born2--- does it also list alcohol consumption, smoker/non-smoker and (for my Dad-lol) how many times your nose has been broken??? My Dad-3
going for the hat-trick--lol

So he was clearly compliant.
Do you not think One would consider it a medical condition? Not Important enough to mention in case of a Missing person?

Its why a question was raised about his insurance cards and prescription cards----to replace takes more than a few steps.

Does not show the inside, shows vehicle coming in, does it NOT show who got out? Further...Mayer's wife is captured arriving in her vehicle..how do they KNOW it was Mayer's wife in her vehicle?

Welcome Spiritecho!!!!!
Great questions------my thought was that THE CAR (Rob's GTO) was lower than IM's car--if she has an SUV its higher and may be within the frame of the camera.
I wondered about the other neighbors----do any of them have security cameras that may have picked up something.

I apologize if I came across harsh. IMO some people have a tendency to blow off things they dont understand medically before doing any research or only the cursory amount. I tend to be passionate about being informed as I have seen too many people lose their life or become even worse off because they do not follow dr advice or their significant others do not support and encourage compliance because they have not thought it important enough to follow through and research it. :twocents:

No need to apologize IMO---people do blow things off---my m-i-l for one and she is suffering the consequences for ignoring her diabetes for so many years (she is losing her eye sight and has terrible neuropathy as a result). I wont bore everyone with the details of her cancer and how long she ignored symptoms and would not follow up with the doctor that she tried to sue---sigh.........

Agreed! IMO especially after 18 years of marriage...although IMO she did report it right away (just not to the public) and this is why he is listed as endangered. :drip: :drip: :drip:

And to just insert a teensy---its one of those potentially identifying things--Mr C was an awful snorer--would fall asleep on the city bus and SNORE so loudly people would be looking at him on a very loud city bus----if RM was the snoring type--people would notice it!!!!!

NCNY refers to this texting person as "him" if you read back through the post. I took it to be a man, perhaps a bad influence.

CC-- you just reminded me of a question------How many verified insiders do we have??? I am thinking of something I posted yesterday---we have one that I know of from IM's family--do we have anymore from RM's family--or a neighbor, a Union member, friend of RM?????? It would be very different info ===maybe we are weighting too heavily the info from one source?????

Some medication will make you gain weight---steroids (not the scary injecting body-builder kind but prednisone), anti-depressants. Possible he was on meds at the time of the pictures and was taken off???? Maybe bike-riding???????

Just by the photos I have seen of Robert Mayer he looks very healthy and to me he does not seem to be the druggie type.
It appears to me also he takes care of himself and I don't see drugs in the program.
healthy!

ALL JMO

all from my memory:

-wallet left home, so no id for scrap yard or wallet left in garage in 10 minute stop.

-phone found, phone not found, phone found

-car found in the exact spot he used to park, loves car to much to leave it

-medical condition? headaches or sleep apnea requiring cpap released 3 months later

-video at scrap yard, video not working, looks worried in non-existant video

-last call dropped? I love you at end of call?

-it was just like any other day? Nervous energy in days leading to disappearance.

What else?

Is there any one fact that is not subject to change?

BBM - So far - Robert Mayer is missing. That's all I got. JMO

If it was normal for him to leave his personal effects in the garage at the end of the week WHY WEREN'T THE NORMAL PLACES CHECKED FOR AN ENTIRE WEEK?!!!!

I realize she had it in her mind that he left the wallet there before work but it bogles the mind that other possibilities were not explored and/or investigated.
If the normal places weren't checked for a week - then how was the wallet found by 4pm the very day he went missing, 1 hour after he was expected home? JMO but isn't that what we heard early on? Or was I dreaming?

IMO there is no such thing as a "druggie type" it can affect people regardless of ethnicity, health, age, or economic background. What you are refering to are druggies after years or even just months of abuse. If someone had just started using or only did it recreationally, one may not show signs of wear and tear for ohhhhh lets say ...90 days....also, I would submit that there are alot of people on prescription drugs...more than you may realize. Many would suprise you...showing zero outward signs even after years...... working in behavior health, many of my clients have dual diagnoses....neither of which you would know about to look at or talk to them..
