Could it be that he looked scared in the video at scrap yard because he was followed there and maybe owed a lot of money to soemone? Maybe he knew today was the day that he had to pay a big loan and couldn't? None of this is really making any sense.
I thnk he was involved in soemthing he should not have been and was killed for it. Police do not have enough info to say that a crime was committed or maybe they do and they want to throw off the investigation.
This case is really strange. I don't thnik he's alive. It cold have been a mob hit as it's too clean.

The whole story is too contrived and keeps changing. Too many inconsistancies. If this were NCIS, they would have nailed the perp already. Some people are masterful at setting the stage, but not this director. The information changes with every article we read. We are being played and distracted like someone is throwing a ball off in a direction away from where the focus should be.:maddening:

I think every time we get close to something, out come the crumbs to distract us, like CPAP machines and the video doesn't show Rob. I believe it was Rob in his car on video, he dropped off the items and picked something up :twocents:

a lot more.

Yes and I will again state that it would be a very huge injustice to RM if information that could help find him was being withheld all for the sake of someone else's need for privacy.

I find it very hard to believe that a man would look scared and worried and there is not a single clue of what that worry could be.

Not a single text message?

Not a single phone call?

Not a single off the cuff remark to a friend or coworker?

I'm not buying that the reason for his worry is a big mystery.

As they say, someone knows something.

And they aren't telling.

Grain of salt, may be another non truth IMO

What if there is no perp to catch?

I agree with you. Sometimes I wonder if it is for the sake of privacy, but if my loved one were missing, privacy would go out the window. I would be throwing names and incidents out there to make any connection possible in order to find him and very early on.

Let me add that we have been fed a load of "all was normal" before he disappeared - until YESTERDAY.

Why hide that information???

Agreed.
Also ironic how the day WS is as quiet as a ghost town...crumbs appear.
I KNOW...they have no control over the media...just saying.

What if there is no perp to catch?

There is a reason why the car seat was pushed closer and all I can see here (a gut instict) is a very short woman parking that car at the train station. It has stuck in my head from the start. Someone who knew exactly where he parked that car when he went to that train station. IMO it is our ONLY real clue that there was some kind of cover up but the perp made a fatal error by forgetting to push that car seat back. It is going to be the one clue that breaks this case. Watch. They always leave a clue, even if unintentional.

This has been happeneing all along. With every news article, we get new information. The ball is being bounced around to keep us busy. This all looks very staged.

And now the article says the cell phone, wallet and money were found in A DRAWER. Weren't we told earlier they were found in SEPARATE drawers at different times?

Somewhere way back when I thought the missing tools may be significant, I posted a scenario where he is driving her car and she is driving his. And she gets out of his car and into her passenger seat. She being the GF. They go off into the sunset together.

No scent for the dogs to pick up because he never gets out of either car...

This could have happened on Saturday morning for all we know, after he decided not to go home the night before.

Lots of holes in this theory but I like it because if true, he is alive.

Oh I don't think so. I don't think anyone is managing their actions around what we are doing here on WS. No one else is talking about it. The admins on FB have effectively shooed the inquisitive ones away.

I think they are managing their privacy and only releasing a little at a time, probably accidentally.

I don't think it is calculated one bit.

When I say "we" I am referring to ANYONE following the case, not WS. If information changes, it always means that the story is flawed, happens all the time when people are either LYING or WITHHOLDING information. That's how they get caught. Ask any law enforcement person. It is elementary my dear Eliza. I wish some Private Investigators would post on here. I would be VERY curious to see what they have to say.

For what it is worth, Huffington Post gets details wrong and/or different from other earlier media reports in a lot of cases, i.e. the bit about one drawer vs. different drawers could be an example of this. JMO

"I can speculate until the cows come home, but I know he had a really nervous energy about him in the days before he disappeared," she said. "The kids were studying for finals at the time, so all my focus was on them."

Okay a couple of CRUMBS.....He has sleep apnea with a breathing machine up by the bed AND he had a REALLY NERVOUS ENERGY in the days before he disappeared.

These things were never mentioned before that I am aware of......
Interesting and strange that they weren't mentioned previously........
IMOO.

very strange and crumbley-------To diagnose sleep apnea and get the proper calibrations for the CPAP machine you must under a sleep study---you do that at a sleep clinic not in the home. Mr C and his mother and my Dad have sleep apnea and their sleep studies were done in sleep clinics.
