Law&crime's outside mic was bad I couldn't hear Gloria Allreds replys
I don't know, is that really a bad thing? j/k ;)
Pulp Fiction. The plot boldly escapes her. Where’s the pearls when you need them?

I give her credit for looking younger than 84, but not for being in her 80’s dressing like she is in her 20’s.

Kanye West has been accused of drugging and sexually assaulting his one-time assistant and OnlyFans star at a party with Sean “Diddy” Combs, alarming new court papers show.

Seems to be catching...

I think they are paying them off to keep their names from being sullied and/or running the risk of criminal charges being brought against them.

I’m not sure how that can happen seamlessly. The victims will have to make a decision about getting a better deal from the perps or the law suit.

While I understand avoiding the legal battle for the victims, the best course to expose the offenders is through the legal system in numbers (a fortress).

It’s difficult to grasp all of it without having firsthand experience.

I've continued falling down the rabbit hole this morning and remembered a book I bought over 10 years ago by Terrance Dean. It was called Hiding in Hip Hop where he exposed a gay subculture within the entertainment industry from his own experiences, but he used pseudonyms to disguise the celebs' identities. I can't for the life of me find a list on the web decoding the pseudonyms but if I remember correctly some of the names are also associated with the Diddy allegations. Not to suggest every man mentioned in the book is a potential accomplice, but TD interestingly moved around in the same circles as some Diddy's closest "associates" (think soon-to-expire "prince"). Anyway, I then googled to see if there's any videos of Terrance reacting to the recent Diddy drama only to find he died aged 53 in 2022 due to an unknown illness with no cause of death provided..... may be unrelated but anything seems possible in this case.

I need to find the book again to revisit it because I'm sure the truth was out there all this time.

Edit: also hello everyone! Didn't realise this was my first post!

...“If you’re a fan of the hit show Empire and its characters Cookie, Lucious, Hakeem, Jamal, and Andre, then you have to check out Terrance Dean’s provocative memoir Hiding in Hip Hop. Dean writes a compelling story about black gay men in Hip Hop and Hollywood, and what it takes for them to make it the entertainment industry.” – JL King, New York Times bestselling author of On The Down Low

Celebrated blogger and former MTV insider Terrance Dean reveals a hidden side of Hollywood and hip hop in this explosive and illuminating memoir.

Terrance Dean worked his way up for more than ten years in the entertainment industry from intern to executive and has lived the life of glitz and bling along with Hollywood and Hip Hop’s most glamorous heavy hitters. As a gay man immersed within the world of the famous and the fabulous, Dean knows well the industry’s secrets and the façade that is kept, that for men, promotes machismo and heteronormative behavior.

Most of what Dean unveils in this book is fascinating and salacious, but all of it is true. He also shares his own secrets, and an account of the pain of his mother’s addiction, and the poverty and molestation he experienced as a child.

Hiding in Hip Hop is not a traditional tell-all. It’s personal. It’s poignant. It’s a provocative and honest look at stardom and sexuality.

His other book, Mogel, was always rumored to be based on Combs as well. https://www.amazon.com/Mogul-Novel-...rds=mogul+terrance+dean&qid=1727112945&sr=8-1

...From the Essence bestselling author of Hiding in Hip Hop and an entertainment insider—a fascinating novel about the “down-low” life of one of New York’s most beloved Hip Hop producers.

After the sudden death of his father, a renowned jazz musician, Aaron “Big A.T.” Tremble clings to music as an escape. Making hip hop beats becomes his life. His love for music lands him at the estate of Larry “Pop” Singleton, a retired and respected Hip Hop music mogul who sees something special in Big A.T.—he also knows the truth about his sexuality. With Pop’s blessings and nurturing, Big A.T. is on the path to becoming the next great Hip Hop producer in New York.

With the help of Pop and “the family,” a network of secretly gay men in the Hip Hop world, Big A.T. finds success and starts his own music label. He’s signed and worked with some of the biggest Hip Hop artists in the country. One of them is Brooklyn native lyricist, “Tickman.” Together they are making sweet music together. Tickman and Big A.T.’s relationship goes beyond producer and rapper—they become secret lovers.

Nothing can stop Big A.T. All of the radio stations play his music. He has money, fame, and Jasmine, his girlfriend who doesn’t know about his secret love for men. However, at the pinnacle of his career, compromising photos of Big A.T. land on the desk of a national news program—and in the hands of his girlfriend. Big A.T., for the first time is at a crossroad in his career: come out publicly with his secret or watch his music empire crumble.

"The gag order is best for everyone." In an exclusive Court TV video, #Diddy’s new lawyer explains why he introduced the music mogul's entire family to the judge and his thoughts on the gag order.

He introduced his entire family to the judge?! That's either one patient judge, or he found patience for this defendant. To me, it seems as if most judges don't have a minute to spare. jmoo

It's such an unfortunate and messy industry, that there are likely many who could help corroborate the changes against Diddy, but will never speak up, lest it taint their career because - to quote one of my favourite movies, "Rattlesnakes don't commit suicide."

This could lead to justice lost for those who deserve it.

That’s his 84 year old mother dressed like she is in her twenties.

No undergarments and no class.
