The storage facility between Willsboro & Essex is no longer going to be used. It's breaking down. #PrisonBreakNY

Guess that explains the 'nerves'. Or maybe she just lost hers.

I'm watching local news (TWCNews.com) but they're replaying some segments over and over now and I haven't seen or heard anything new in some time now. there's a running ticker at the bottom of the screen though that says, in part "state department of corrections, state police, the us marshall's office and essex county sheriff's office are involved in the search. several employees at the prison have been interviewed but no arrests have been made."

Wonder if she was supposed to be their ride?

I have been wondering that myself!

They discussed that possibility on CNN yesterday and this morning, wouldn't be surprised if that's the reason for the bad case of nerves.

That's what I was thinking.Got scared and checked into hospital? Weird. JM

This whole case is reminding me of an episode of The Following. Let's hope NY LE is more competent than the FBI is on that show!

Maybe the reality hit that they're dangerous, and they're out, and she wanted to be in a safe location yet still not surrounded by LE.

http://www.pressconnects.com/story/news/local/2015/06/09/prisoners-search-northern-towns/28768175/

"Middle Road in Willsboro was blocked off by law enforcement officers, who said they were responding to a tip. There also were several police officers at the Lake Champlain Ferries port in Essex, New York, where all vehicles heading to Vermont were being searched."

<snip>

"Sweat was behind bars on a conviction for first-degree murder in the 2002 killing of Broome County Sheriff's Deputy Kevin Tarsia, then 36. Matt, 48, had been sentenced to 25 years to life for the kidnapping, dismemberment and murder of his former boss in 1997."

What do make of she being described as "somewhat cooperative"?

ETA: here's my (purely speculative) take on that quote: IF she was supposed to be their ride, and backed out, she backed out on two convicted murderers. That isn't something you do (double crossing killers is a BIG DEAL, wouldn't you say?).
Considering the fact we know her phone was used, and we don't know whether she was under duress or a willing participant.

It is clear that she was compromised. What we don't know is to what degree, and how willingly. Perhaps she knew she was in danger, but didn't sound the alert. The other end of the spectrum is that she willingly assisted them. The level of planning that was required to escape tells me that they had to have had help. I don't want to believe she was the one doing it. If it wasn't her, than who was it?
Perhaps she is aware of something bigger?

I'm on the :fence: here (and apologize for the thinking-out-loud post).

Mine are all coming from the television - the live feed is available at twcnews.com - they said on tv it's available to everyone everywherre, login requirements are temporarily suspended throughout this incident. I'll try to edit that link into everything but i'm not sure that transcripts of everything will be available.. is this alright?

Hi GGE,

I, for one, would appreciate the updates posted here (those that follow TOS, of course). The TWC news site requires that I install Silverlight to view the feed, but when I try, it says it's already installed. So it's not working for me and I don't have the time to troubleshoot.

Thanks!

On Anderson 360 they just said that a source from the investigation stated that Joyce Mitchell was supposed to be their get away ride but she backed out
