I am having a hard time wrapping my mind around the fact that these 2 men laid in a 24" steam pipe and managed to cut a hole to escape from the inside of the pipe...Where did the piece of pipe go that was cut out? How long did they lay there and work? It makes no sense. How did they know where to cut the escape hole? I am scratching my head...
Ive been thinking the same thing.

To me, I think some of the cuts were done in reverse. Like beginning with the cell openings.
I mentioned the other day the cut followed the frame perfectly. The only way I can see that is if someone cut from the inside of the wall. So that means a person was already inside the wall cutting an opening to the cells.
Could be the same with the pipe. Cut from outside the pipe. It seems construction worker permits or worker themselves may have cut for them. Or perps got in those areas somehow.
If you were inside a pipe, the smell and smoke alone from the cutting tool I would think would make you choke. I think it may have been cut from outside the pipe. Same with the cell. The cell ones I am definitely guessing inside the wall cutting to the cell. All JMO of course.
