forgot, on the post note angle, anyone know if in that cartoon show if there was some racial angle to the story. Cause the post it has been described as derogatory in terms of race - anyone know?? TIA

I suppose that happy face could be used in a derogatory manner in certain contexts or situations, but not in this one.

No racial overtones in this case imo. Simply, a F-U and sarcasm to authority figures.

Hey CARIIS. Tried to say hey earlier from your post but site is whack for me today. Pages taking forever to load and all i see is an ad. Posting or switching causes huge delays and again ads. Cant even get to the proper site to report this. Here goes I hope this post gets thru and maybe a mod will see it. Been increasing the past week or so and last 2 days have been frustrating.

I think that it was just a smile face type that someone (not sure who drew it) knew how to draw. I remember going through many phases of drawing different doodles. I have seen them drawn that way before. I doubt that there was any racial meaning. People can find racism in everything and anything - even when there is no malicious intent. JMO

what is the very latest you are hearing ?

Thanks for picking up the thread y'all. I finally fell asleep for a few hours and now my day starts here on the West Coast with my girls.

I'll be back in a few after they're off to school. Hoping for good news and that everyone stays safe.

I had an overflowing toilet early this morning at the complex I manage. Happened to run into one of my tenants who is VSP as he was coming off his shift. He didn't give details but confirmed it was a sighting by a very credible source and that their scent had been picked up by dogs where the sighting was reported. He was very confident that they are cornered.

Is the toilet still running like our fugutives!

Her son is also a member of the Vermont Air National Guard, so she might have suggested places to hide in VT that she was familiar with.

Are tools permitted to remain in one's possession when you are a mechanic with VT Air National Guard? I certainly don't believe he had a part in any of this, but could Mom have swiped a couple of them if a few tools are permitted to remain in member's possession?

Here is the statement- it was "off" kind of out of the blue:

"When you are put into a situation where your family member is threatened or other family members might be threatened, or at risk, you do a lot of things that you wouldn't do, to just protect your family,"

IMO, that is a loaded statement!

http://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news...oned-escape-says-mom-would-not-assist-n372416

IF above isn't true (threats to family member, etc), Mom has to defend some of her actions, has to offer a somewhat plausible explanation to family members.

CNN Breaking

Where dogs picked up scent was very near prison

Spot where they may have been hiding out, Found:

Food wrappers

Boot or shoe print

Sign of bedding down there at one time

All at the particular point, But don't know when were there, how long ago

LE "confident" evidence ^^ of escapees

Ha! Her son rose with the sun this morning and decided it would be a great time to flush some toys. The running toilet has been contained, hopefully we will be able to say the same about these two in the next few hours.

I have no clue about their protocol with tools. I don't think he was knowingly involved either, but do believe mom could have used his tools or his knowledge to help the prisoners.

I dont know, sounds like it might be like "stale" stuff. It has been pouring rain, unless he broke his foot early on which slowed them down, it seems somewhat silly to think these two would "hang" out so close to prison . Or the rain and the fact that they found a footprint could mean it was recent.

Maybe turning around to fool folks?

CNN is showing more updated stuff than local news now so I'm not going to be following TWCNews.com any longer, just a global FYI.

CNN:

Location is 3 miles from the prison

I like the word choice- wish we could say the same about Fukushima!

Latest update - sighting in VT. https://twitter.com/wcax

Going to an island probably wouldn't be the smartest move - so who knows if this was them.
