Anybody have any speculation of how they will catch these guys?
I cannot begin to image navigating the vast amount of terrain LE are enduring, BUT, (and I could be wrong as this is my first prison escape case I have followed) what do they do after they have searched the terrain, and sometimes are doubling back? I've read a few twitter accounts of msm personel who have stated there aren't any choppers in the sky today.
Anybody else think maybe these guys are out of state, in a completely different part of the state or country?

Inside Clinton Correctional: Power Tools And Barbecue Grills

<snip>

There are a lot of questions about how they got that equipment. The truth is, inmates in New York prisons work with tools all the time.

"Any of the institutions are like that," says PL, who worked as a guard at Clinton Correctional Facility for three decades. L, now retired, says using inmates to help with maintenance work is a cost-effective way to keep old prisons running.

"The maintenance is so large, so big, by using the inmate, you know, they can take care of things, keep it up better," he says. "Yes, a lot of things can happen during that period of time."

He means that inmates have a lot of access to equipment and supplies, and they also pick up a lot of information about how the prison works, the design of utility areas and the layout.

Thank you Cady! I did send a PM right after I joined asking to be verified. I have not heard back yet, but I do know that Tricia must be extremely busy and that she will get to me when she can. I have no worries on that.

I just would like to know if I can post about an incident that happened years ago in New York that should have changed the operations in jails/prisons. I should just post it since it is relevant to New York Corrections.

Here is an article from last week from a retired Clinton Correctional Officer.

I think so too. If its relevant, should be fine.

More & more I'm thinking that Matt & Sweat are no longer in the area. If they are, they must be holed up in a vacant house somewhere. It's been an entire week now & they have to have access to food & water, especially water. Reportedly neither is a survivalist.

Consider this scenario, JM met them as previously agreed. They either told her to get lost or threatened to kill her & she somehow managed to escape. Either of those situations could have caused her 'attack of nerves' that sent her to the hospital. Her 'attack of nerves' could have been caused by her 'love' rejecting her or just plain old fear.

I agree, if the plan was foiled by Tille, the monsters would have most likely been caught by now.

Kimi,

That quote you posted is certainly an eye opener for everyone. Thank you for posting that.

You know Kimi, what is bad is the fact that something happened a while ago that should have set the precedence of how jails/prisons are operated. The incident happened to the friend/co-worker of my friend/co-worker's father.

I do not know if it is proper to state the details in this thread or not, but there are connections to the Clinton Facility that pertains to the incident a while ago about the lack of security that I would like to discuss. Can Kimi or anyone please direct me to where I can post that? Can I post it here or somewhere else.

Hi Thora-Jay and welcome!
I will alert a mod. They are sure to help!

I've done the same. Hopefully you'll hear something soon.

Interesting. Did her family watch the same arraignment I did where her attorney entered a plea of not guilty?

Can I see a link regarding a sexual relationship?

The prison staffer is rumored to have had affairs with both Matt and Sweat, before providing them with contraband for their escape....

And this is not her first rodeo

She’s a real “troublemaker.”
The prison worker suspected of helping two killers escape was caught in the act having sex with a colleague at her old job — breaking up both their marriages, it was revealed Wednesday.

I've thought they left the area shortly after their escape. My guess is they were smart enough to not tell JM their actual plans as to where they were headed.

Like your idea that JM may have shown up and they dismissed her. If I recall, the K-9's followed their scent for a short while before it disappeared. Perhaps she gave them a ride across town and then told her to get lost. I bet she gave them money if she did meet with them.
