LE shot Matt after the driver of camper called 911 bc he was shot at during an attempt to hijack vehicle

If they are both killed we may never know who else was involved in helping them with either the escape or while they were on the run.

It will be interesting to hear of all the details as we learn.

I do wonder if the protocol allowed them to shoot on sight if they wanted since the 2 were already proven to be a danger to others since they were breaking into cabins.

I hope the other one decides to give up. The thing is though. How can he give up without being killed if he has no phone. He is in a bad way right now.
There would be no safe way to give up.

From CNN broadcast............According to a former U. S. Marshal, under the circumstances it would definitely be appropriate to shoot on sight. The fugitives were known convicted killers. He said they were unsure if they were armed but if unarmed they could always hide behind a tree, ambush an officer & take his weapon away. Priority is on stopping these escapees.
