NY - Seven-foot-tall head found floating in Hudson

I don't think enough people are taking this case seriously. I DON'T think we should bury our heads in the sand.

This head deserve it's identity back!

I think I can hear it singing, "Nobody knows the trouble I've seen".

And there was probably a verse that began, "Nobody knows where I lost my spleen"

Now he needs a shoulder to cry on.

I am wondering if this head is singing the old Eddie Nelson song...

"Somewhere...Across the Sea...

My body... Is WADING for me!"

More rumors...

When the head was little it was kicked out of summer camp by, of course, the HEAD counselor, for failure to sing the camp theme song, "HEAD, shoulders, knees and toes". The head was tough, always maintaining a stiff upper lip, and it continued to roll along (or as we now know, it floated). At some point, while living in NY, the head opened "Camp NOBODY". Camp NOBODY was a big hit and everyone then knew the head wasn't just another pretty face.

Yes, I'm barely hanging on by a tHrEAD

I think I also found evidence it had a stage name... HEADdy Lamar.

Also, there are rumors it dated Trib U. Terry and Floatilla the Hun. But, obviously, it didn't have a nose for romance and... it wasn't blessed with the ability to wink (sad, really). Oh, and I forgot to mention... heartless!

The artists who created the head also toyed in the optical market... fiberglasses.

Am running low on pop-cult head references: there's Tears for Fears's "Head Over Heels," and Nine Inch Nails's "Head Like a Hole." Plus some Alanis Morissette song. And the '70s band Head East. Oh, and the Go-Go's!

Well... We can always reference some not-so-pop-cult examples...

Like the "Alice Through the Lookinglass" Queen of Hearts saying..."Off with her head!"...

And King Henry the VIII... "Off with her head!"

:dunno:

(Note: I do recognize that novels should be underlined or italicized. But I can't wrap my head around how to do those with my iPad...:blushing:...)

Maybe it was a groupie for Head Zeppelin?

I haven't heard Head Zeppelin... But maybe that is because I am Def Leppard...

Ya know, if the hair was a little poofy-er... it's possible it came from the Euphratease.

Plus, OFF-TOPIC JUST A NOODGE, there's always Dread Zeppelin, the Elvis impersonator-fronted reggae Zep cover band.

Somebody knows who this head belongs to. I don't understand why nobody has come forward. I think when it finally comes out, more heads will roll.

"Rollin, rollin, rollin on the river"

Their cover of 'Black Dog' is not quite so harrowing.

Oh no, I can't listen to more! :truce:

Sorry, Deaf Leppard... uhh, I mean godot.

Wonder if the head felt a little dinghy while bouncing about in the Hudson?

Yachtever would it have done without that rowing team?!

I'm done! I quit!
