New York attacker is a ‘soldier of the caliphate,’ ISIS says

http://wgno.com/2017/11/03/new-york-attacker-is-a-soldier-of-the-caliphate-isis-says/amp/

“One of the Islamic State soldiers in America attacked on Tuesday a number of crusaders on a street in New York City,” the al-Naba newspaper reported Thursday.

While ISIS did not claim direct responsibility for the attack, it described the attacker as one of its soldiers.

This is the first time the terror group has put such a claim on its newspaper before releasing it on its media wing, Amaq news agency, which is its first point of publication for claims of responsibility.

The wording of the ISIS statement — not claiming the attack as an outright act of ISIS and saying the person carrying the attack is one of its “soldiers” — mirrors ISIS’ language in statements after an attack in France and the nightclub shooting in Orlando last year.

What, exactly, is incorrect? What are you basing your "incorrect" claim on? Because you are the one who is incorrect:

"Statistics show that since 1982, the majority of mass shootings — 54 percent — were committed by white men, according to data from Mother Jones. Black people were the second largest perpetrators of mass shootings based on ethnic background, but only accounted for roughly 16 percent of the total incidents during the same time period."

"White men are 31 percent of the U.S. population"

It may come with disinfrangisement first? Then religion?

I saw this quote once and I don't know who said it. But I agree with it. 'Religion happens when God leaves the room'. I'm guessing Allah and Mohamed also. MOO

From your link:
More than half of the cases involved school or workplace shootings (12 and 20, respectively); the other 30 cases took place in locations including shopping malls, restaurants, and religious and government buildings. Forty-four of the killers were white males. Only one was a woman. (See Goleta, Calif., in 2006.) The average age of the killers was 35, though the youngest among them was a mere 11 years old.

It's astonishing how a terrorist killed 59 (?) and wounded 500 people weeks ago and as of yet there have been no calls to change any policies, and shoulders have been shrugged at the supposed inability to stop anything like it from ever happening again, and yet, another terrorist killed 8 people a few days ago and there have been a frenzy of incriminations and condemnations of millions of people, and legal proposals were made within hours of the event. Whatever could be the difference? Why would these 2 events be treated so differently? I just can't imagine... could it be that fear has been discovered to be the best weapon and distractor?

I wonder if, when Saipov recovers from his injuries (why couldn't he have done himself first?) he'll be deported back to Uzbekistan

In NYC alone the NYPD have found, arrested, 33 Islamic terrorists who have been convicted of plotting to carryout terrorists attacks against the citizens of the US. That does not include the one that carried out his vile acts on Halloween.

While it is true that there has been fanatical christian extremists who have murdered due to their religious beliefs it cannot begin to compare to the lives taken by Islamic extremists who did the same in the name of their religion.

The abortion doctor killer (SR) was a christian extremist and Rudolph was most likely one too along with being anti-government, but neither were mass murderers since SR killed one and ER killed one and maimed one. The FBI defines mass murder where more than four victims were involved.

JMO

True that.

In fact I have been trying to locate United States born and bred domestic terrorists that scream "Jesus Christ!" when they carry out their attacks but cannot seem to find any....maybe someone on WS knows?

I didn't realize the Christian terrorist test was someone has to scream "Jesus Christ" when carrying out their attacks. I'm unable to find where this is the rule. Maybe someone on WS knows?

If we decide white guys with guns are scary the whole country would need a valium prescription. Easier to look the other way.

I would hope not. I feel a lot safer knowing one less terrorist is on the loose. I think our country is safer with him in one of our jails.

Argentine Survivors Mourn 'Lives Stolen' in NYC Truck Attack

https://www.nbcnews.com/storyline/n...s-mourn-lives-stolen-nyc-truck-attack-n817466

"It's hard to understand how lives were stolen, how a dream turned into a nightmare. It hurts like nothing has ever hurt before. The feeling cannot be conveyed: We survived, and we saw our friends leave this world,” Guillermo Banchini said in a statement from Argentina’s Consulate in New York.

"What has the world turned into? How could someone have thought, planned, and executed this?" Banchini said in the statement, which was on behalf of him as well as the other survivors Ariel Benvenuto, Juan Pablo Trevisán and Ivan Brajkovic. Martin Ludovico Marro was injured and hospitalized.

"Hopefully, this will be avenged. Hopefully, this won't happen again — not here and not anywhere else in the world," he said.

That picture of the Argentine survivors is heartbreaking. One of their friends is still in the hospital.
