NY State: Amanda Rodriguez found dead with knife wounds. BF on the run. September 14th, 2025.

On September 14, 2025, at approximately 9:15 a.m., the Cohoes Police Department responded to Earl Lynn Court in Cohoes, NY, regarding a deceased female found inside a residence. Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim, identified as Amanda Rodriguez, age 41, also of Cohoes.

An investigation determined that Anthony G. Bechand, age 53, fled the residence in a white 2024 Chevrolet Silverado. This vehicle was later found unoccupied on County Route 60 at the intersection of County Route 86 in Brighton, Franklin County. Bechand is believed to have fled in an unknown direction and was wearing an unknown outfit at the time of his departure.

Bechand is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing about 180 pounds, with hazel eyes and brown hair.

A multi-agency search for Bechand is currently underway in the area where his vehicle was located.

I wonder how long after did they find his truck? You gotta wonder in such desperation if he could have hitch hiked and or took someone’s car. Hopefully not a person in the process. I doubt he makes it to the border. It’s still pretty far away from where his truck was located. He could be going west by now.
