I think Anna Marie Scivetti's disappearance could be considered the text-book case of death at the hands of an abusive boyfriend. Every aspect of her case is completely typical of what you could expect to see. Especially the order of protection. If you compare that case to Sylvia's, all that there is in common is the fact that each girl was last seen with her boyfriend, and there may have been a fight in both cases before the disappearance. I can certainly see why LE would be harrassing Chorman-and can see why they aren't harrassing BF/F. However, in neither case, can the man in question be brought in and questioned, because of a lack of evidence. Doesn't make either of them innocent, but BF/F doesn't appear to be nearly as guilty by comparison, does he? Still, I wish we could know if he answered all of the questions that LE had.

Do these pictures look like somebody's wedding snapshots? I am curious about the possibility that it was Sylvia who was cut out because it wouldn't make sense for the photos to feature anybody else in what appears to be family photos of the Lwowskis-unless there was a divorce, but then why would these pictures have been added to the Missing site if Sylvia wasn't in them (at one time)?

Bbm: -Just guessing here, but SL was symbolically cut out? -To represent the fact that she is still missing. These pics are of her BF/F, and his parents. The other set--her BF/F and her dog (that died 6 mos. after she disappeared) that was referred to?
The pictures of others (unnamed), without Sylvia, couldn't be added to Namus, so they were added to the NY State (non-government) missing persons site.
Symbolism is frequently lost on me (lol)-I am a concrete thinker, but of course, it makes perfect sense that Sylvia was removed from the photos in that way. I am very glad that DeerHunter is still working on this-his persistence gives me some hope that he'll have some sort of resolution.

It is an interesting choice to post on that website b/c of GPS tracking. The presentation whether intentional, or not, is a fractured collage of images, that makes a statement.

I'm not sure how it could be unintentional ... I'm also not sure how I feel about it. It is a predatory step, IMO. I hope he has some basis for it.
Predatory, for sure-when I looked at the photos initially, I could barely see them. I assumed they were of the Lwowski family, with Sylvia cut out of the photos. I wasn't sure that the photos could be of anyone else (how many of us keep photos of other people who are no longer in our universe?). Then, Rosemadderlake explained it. I can see what's happening now-let's see what happens next, as it looks like DeerHunter is going through all of the Lwowski family ephemera.

I agree with that wait-and-see stance. However, re the BBM, could those pix be part of that ephemera? Wouldn't that mean EL/JL attended that wedding?!?! Good grief. I was thinking the older couple was probably the BF/F's parents.

Looking at the assembly of cut out, broken, upside down, and sideways images –its arrangements took me aback; like a shattered past - abstract as it is.
Unless one knows Sylvia’s story well, I would say it could cause confusion because there are no words, thoughts, to accompany the photos –and the intent is veiled because of that.
Knowing some of Sylvia’s story, it is the same – confusing. -I think these are SL’s personal photos and some have been altered. - But why? -To publish a recognizable image (s)? -It wouldn’t be the first PR to push the envelope. What one can do or not is certainly questionable. –Why no names? Why so mysterious?

My first thought was that it was Sylvia's parents, but then why put a picture up with Sylvia cut out of the picture, when your intent is to help find that missing person. So this picture is of BF/F and his parents? I'm confused, but it certainly is not the first time I'm confused where this thread is concerned, or probably the last, to many games, to many secrets.

What I see is the BF/F's actual bride cut away, the "gap" suggesting it's the space SL should have filled, but didn't. To take the image at face value, it places SL as the BF/F's ghost bride. The symbol of a marriage that never occurred.

Would you please ask her? "Wedding" was just a guess of mine; it was hard to tell just what was going on in those photos, or who was in them.
