Various Twitter accounts that track police scanners say the shooting occurred at a party and that one of the victims is likely to die. The NYPD cannot confirm this; we’ll update when we know more.

This is a very, very crime-ridden part of Brooklyn, if not one of the worst among all the boroughs. When I read it happened in Brooklyn I knew it had to have been there, or in Brownsville. Sad that there are still areas like this where little kids see/hear gunfire almost daily. Hope the victims recover.
