GUILTY NY - Thomas Valva, 8, autistic, killed, NYPD father & fiancee arrested, Suffolk Co, 17 Jan 2020 *arrests*

Once again I am speechless and in shock over this case. I have nothing to add, except continued prayers for Justyna and her boys. I hope they find peace and comfort in the fact that Thomas could very well have saved his brothers and step-sisters lives and now he is somewhere where the evil can't hurt him. I hope these monsters rot in jail and no one believes the BS the attorneys are spewing. I hope they have enough physical and electronic evidence to nail them to the wall so they never see the light of day again. Take all their blankets, soak them in cold water and beat them prior to every night they spend in jail. That would be the ONLY justice for this sweet baby.

And what did he say when his son was dying? Oh yea, Boo-f*****g-hoo. That's my response to this.

I wish we all could be there to say this to him.

Changes in laws mean nothing if they are not followed. The judges, case workers and attorney McCabe (who did not represent the children the taxpayers paid her to represent) need to be held accountable - and I mean seriously held accountable - or this will happen again. And again.

They weren't following the existing laws because there's no oversight and accountability. They're not going to follow any new laws unless there are severe consequences for failing to do so. At the very least, the taxpayers deserve a refund of the money attorney McCabe was paid to represent the children. She chose to represent Valva and Pollina instead.

Mom lost unsupervised custody of her kids because she doesn't 'present' well in court and abusive daddy is a cop who plays the role well. Judges and caseworkers 'punished' the mother - and cost Thomas his life - in their efforts to side with and support 'daddy' over 'mommy'.

I want to see the judges and caseworkers explain why they deliberately chose to disregard the repeated complaints coming from the school. I want to see them publicly explain why they took no action when two little boys were hungry, underweight, and showing up at school soaked in urine. You can't blame that on playground accidents and 'horsing around' and clumsiness.

Thomas Valva’s mom files $200M suit over his freezing death
By Jorge Fitz-Gibbon June 16, 2020

The mother of Thomas Valva filed Tuesday, claiming Long Island courts, school officials and social service agencies failed to protect the boy from his abusive ex-NYPD cop dad before the youngster froze to death in January...

...Justyna Zubko-Valva claims in court papers that her autistic 8-year-old son was subjected to years of “completely preventable” abuse at the hands of his cop dad, Michael Valva, and his girlfriend, Angela Pollina — while officials continually looked the other way, her lawyers said in a release.

“Ms. Zubko-Valva had provided evidence to the court, CPS, the police and the children’s (Family Court) attorneys several times that showed the severe physical, mental, and sexual abuse of her children by Valva and Pollina,” the release said.

“Rather than taking action to protect the children and stop their abuse by their father and his fiancee, and report the multiple complaints of abuse that had been made, as required under New York State Social Services Law, defendants hid the truth about the children’s health and fabricated false, misleading and dishonest reports about Ms. Zubko-Valva and her children.”

The lawsuit names Suffolk County Child Protective Services and several supervisors, the East Moriches Union Free School District and officials there, the Suffolk County Attorney’s Office, and Nassau County Supreme Court Justice Hope Schwartz Zimmerman, who gave custody of the children to Michael Valva.

Thank you Castle 22 for posting the article on Justyna Zubko-Valva's lawsuit.

Hopefully - the dots will be connected and the public will learn about the pedophilia
in the police on Long Island. Hopefully the dots will be connected and the public
will learn about how insidiously pathetic the District Attorney's office is on Long Island,
and the Police Chief, too.

Wowie-zowie, what a lawsuit! Good for that poor mom.
We'll see where it goes. False reports, fabrication, etc., perhaps? Certainly something was done, and some things were not done that enabled those people to do horrible things to those children, seems to me.
Who knows where this suit will go and how far up the chain of command that this might also go.
I hope this suit is handled by someone who truly gets to the bottom of this horror.
Am I overreacting? Maybe so, but this thing has got hold of me.
JMHO.
whew!

Never happen. They will quietly settle. No one will lose their job. Life goes on.

If Mama won't settle, they will string this out for years. And years. Until Mama's attorneys say take the money, or we are out of here. I doubt Mama has the cash to throw away on attorneys. And they will want their money quick.

I agree.
For anyone familiar with the Chief Burke beat down of Chris Loeb. Chris Loeb's attorney's sued, there was NO trial.
Burke copped a plea going to prison with his mouth shut.
Chris Loeb was TOLD by one of the lead prosecutors in Eastern Fed office that Chris would be cut a check
RIGHT NOW for $1.5M so take the money. Chris refused and he said I want a trial, and the Feds said
again WE WILL CUT THROUGH THE TAPE and CUT YOU A CHECK FOR $1.5M today, if you go to
trial we will put a Stay on the case and you won't have a trial for years. TAKE THE MONEY.

Chris hung up and one of his attorney's called him and argued TO Chris for 90 minutes to take the money.
Chris took the money. His lawyers got their cut, and Burke's secrets went to prison with him, and now Burke
is out of prison. The Feds took down Spota this November/December. The secrets that went to prison with
Burke, stayed silent all throughout Spota's trial. People lied on the stand to protect Burke and the Feds
allowed it.
Mickey2942 - you are absolutely correct.

And that folks, is How You Play the Game.

The law is not about the facts and what is right. It’s about what you can prove in a court of law. Oh and money.... always follow the money.

I hope he'll die before he could enjoy his....pension....:rolleyes:
May he lose every dime of it and be sleepless in a cold, scary prison cell hearing that child's cries. His own flesh and blood. Every night. May he be haunted nonstop before he gets his earthly release.

Court papers: 8-year-old Thomas Valva was bruised, had hair missing and walked with a limp
By Nicole Fuller+ Newsday March 16, 2021

Eight-year-old Thomas Valva, who Suffolk prosecutors say died last year after his NYPD officer father and his fiancee forced the boy to sleep in an unheated garage in frigid temperatures, was bruised, had missing hair and walked with a limp before his death and had a medical condition consistent with "prolonged stress" in children,
prosecutors said in newly filed court documents.

The new details of Thomas’ physical condition were laid out in court documents filed March 11 in response to requests from defendants, Michael Valva and Angela Pollina, to have evidence in the case thrown out on the grounds it was obtained illegally by investigators. Both have pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder and child
endangerment in Thomas’ death and the alleged abuse of his older brother Anthony, then 10. "
