What a sad sobering case.
I came across it on this page of missing children/young people in Belgium and had a feeling there would be a thread for him.

My heart breaks for his parents. To almost lose him in such a painful way when he was 16 and then to really lose him.
Some of the posts here clearly took a lot of work, and I'm impressed.

Yesterday he went missing exactly 24 years ago.

I noticed the following being mentioned on ‘the charley project’, but not on ‘Namus’: “He has metal plates inserted in his right leg and foot, and several scars on both legs and feet”. It does seem like a good identifier…
