On August 12, 1913 a young woman clothing was found in a public bathhouse at Coney Island apparently from a young woman who had come in the day before.
Her description stuck in the attendent memory because it was unusual for any one to go bathing at at cold time of the year
Description:
Height: 5 feet
Age 21 yrs
Hair Blond
Eyes Blue

Clothing found:
Brown Silk Dress
Black straw hat with white flowers
Black shoes and stalkings
Small purse with 2 pennies and cards with name Miss Maggnes
Pullman ticket for use on {Train] Seabird Line berth No 8 lower March 29 to Miss Annie Beach from Manatau Point from Bradson to Jacksonville
A Novel The Valley of Mystery from Mitchell Circulation Library 1163 East 63d Street Hyde Park
She may have come from Florida

Probably not listed on Namus, Charley project, or Doe network

By the way a Bathhouse in that content of the turn of the century ment for patrons of ocean and pool swimming a place they could change their street atire for bathing suits,

Her name was Ruth V Wagoner. Her body was found a week later.
