A 3-year-old girl was killed in a car fire in Queens on Sunday night. The fire was reported on Baisley Boulevard just before 9 p.m. The girl was in the back of the vehicle.
The doors of the car were chained shut.
A 2008 Audi sedan caught fire just before 9 p.m. Sunday on Baisley Boulevard. It's less than a mile from where police say the child lived with her mother. A propane tank was found in the car and may have fueled the fire. But there's no word yet on an official cause or motive.
The dad was locked in a bitter custody dispute with the girl’s mom — and had been threatening to hurt their angelic toddler right before he allegedly left her burning inside the car that had been rigged up as a fiery prison,
