O.J. Simpson asks Nevada parole board for early release, 20 July 2017

I guess the domestic violence phone calls that we heard with him yelling at Nicole when she was calling nine-one-one was not conflict? Pffft

Ditto that! Trying very hard to keep cynicism in check.

:maddening:

HLN and CNN has audio on and I don't know if they know it's on. The commentators aren't talking ..oj is talking with his lawyer and doesn't realize the microphone was hot?

HLN said they know audio is on...

Granted.

I knew it...the board was too happy coming in.

This parole board has flat-out ignored his domestic violence conviction by claiming that he has no past criminal behavior!

Dereliction of duty!

Aargh. Just KNEW it!

This is so stupid. Their actions were "fair and just"?

He's like 70, isn't he? Why couldn't he have just died of old age while he was in jail?

If him and Casey Anthony get that reality show, I'm going to scream.

And now, we wait for him to **>>&^^ up again.

I agree with Paul Callan - the parole board failed to consider the risk he poses to any woman he may date in the future. He was convicted of domestic violence against Nicole Brown.

Once a violent domestic abuser, always a violent domestic abuser. He hasn't changed, based upon his testimony today.

Gotta go take a long walk after this one!

70 isn't old! I'm 67, DH is 68. We're both in excellent health and hope to live for many more years. While it's scary to think about, OJ could easily live for many more years, date again, marry again, and, yes, possibly commit another crime (or two).

AP reporter - OJ went back to his accomodations - ??? to his jail cell :jail:

I just want to say that SS is a joke and that has nothing to do with his comment about OJ. On the other hand, Joey Jackson knows what he is talking about about. All they wanted to hear and know is that you are sorry and how you have changed.

Hi Popsicle - I agree. As long as he said "I'm sorry" they were ready with that rubber stamp.

His excuses, justifications, and lies today contradict his hollow claims of remorse.

I believe that he could have said anything today & this parole board would have still set him free.

Someone asked about Jeffrey Felix ( who they were talking about when the mic was hot)

:pillowfight:

Anybody watching this PC?

Anybody watching this PC?

I am - with a barf bag in hand.

OJ's arrogance is only matched by his attorney's.

Why are the reporters standing so far away from the podium?

Some....cannot stand the lawyer and several on HLN siad he is not the best. However this gives him a good mark now.

So the hook deals, the shows all will start.

Want yo see the list the board puts out for,him to abide by...and where will he live...he has money that is for sure.

Malcolm LaVergne: The media won't publish anything positive about him.

He's as despicable (if not more) than Baez.
